00:20Producing consciously, following the rituals and traditional manners of couture
00:24has always been a priority for me.
00:26But there was a special moment thanks to my dear friend and muse, Petra Nenkova, who led me
00:32through this path of sustainability.
00:37Having Petra as the image of my first collection, it was a dream come true.
00:42Since that moment, she's been always there guiding me with her special light, and when
00:47she came to Paris to discover my second collection, she challenged me to create a sustainable gown
00:52for the Green Carpet Challenge by EcoAge for the Cannes Film Festival.
01:01In 2018, I had the honor to work with Livia Furr, the EcoAge team, and my incredible stylist,
01:07John Black, to co-create sustainable and ethical looks for one of the most important red carpets
01:14in the world during the Cannes Film Festival.
01:17We worked with several designers from different parts of the world in creating in a conscious
01:24way, with the goal to showcase how ethical and sustainable fashion is absolutely stunning,
01:33and with the second goal to introduce to the designers the conscious way of creating with
01:39the hope that they will continue creating in such a way.
01:42And it worked.
01:44Many designers started to incorporate sustainable practices, and one of them went all the way.

01:52I am so inspired because he took the new learned knowledge, applied it, and committed to it fully
02:00with the next collection.
02:02His creations are full of meaning, powerful messages.
02:08They are made with incredible craftsmanship and love.
02:13And that's what we need today.
02:15We need conscious, loving creations.
02:20Right now, there is a huge interest in sustainability from all of the top celebrity stylists here in
02:28Los Angeles.
02:30A lot of them have already started to work in this direction with their clients.
02:34If you looked at this year's Oscars, a lot of the celebrities were re-wearing looks that
02:41they'd worn previously and just styled in a different way.
02:48Working with Petra and the Eco Age team so closely, it was an awakening experience for
02:53me in so many ways.
02:54But it was going to be a big challenge.
02:57It turned out to be a huge inspiration, and I discovered a whole world with many possibilities
03:02to create in a sustainable way.
03:05For my second challenge, it was a huge honor to be present in the green carpet next to Cristina
03:12Pedroche, introducing the first gown of my very first sustainable couture collection.
03:22Being there, surrounded by so many inspiring people, was so special for me.
03:28This empowering feeling made me feel that we are stronger together.
03:34It is my joy to be surrounded by so many inspiring women.
03:38Only they are capable of bringing my creations to life, and thanks to their divine presence,
03:44I can share my message in its purest essence.
03:50Ask yourself who is behind the clothes you wear.

03:54And wear them like your own skin.
03:56Your conscious choices are making the difference.
04:08It's never too late when it comes to a home, and we have the power to change the future

04:14So now it's time for a revolution, and it's all about love.
04:25It's all about giving back to our Mother Earth and the life it supports.
04:30The more we give, the more we'll receive.
04:36Our industry helps people to express who they are with its magic.
04:40But the silent and deep impact its causes is going too far.
04:45This is our responsibility.
04:47This needs to stop here.
