00:01there is a balance to be struck and you know for me personally I would always prefer that this
00:06balance was struck with sort of local discretion and in a way that reflected whatever that particular
00:16institution was or its customers if it's a business or the people who use it there's a
00:21balance to be struck between different people and their different needs and wants and the way that
00:26they can feel safe and that's true for women it's true for people who are trans and you know where
00:33possible people might also provide other types of facilities if they feel that they have a lot of
00:40people who use their facilities who are trans who aren't going to want to use either men's or women's
00:45but you know broadly we are we're talking about quite a small number of people and it is for
00:51individual businesses institutions to work out how to make sure that those people feel safe
00:58whilst women are also given spaces for themselves
