00:04E.A. Sports. It's in the game.
00:09When we sat down and we started thinking about the design for this year's game,
00:13one of the things that we thought was missing from that game was the whole experience of an interaction between
00:19a golf pro and his caddy.
00:21We've been studying this for a significant amount of time and we wanted to make sure that we delivered something
00:26where once you've played with a caddy, you never ever want to play without one.
00:31If you've played a number of the previous Tiger Woods PGA Tour games, when you got to this year's game,
00:37you would say to yourself, this is very much a different experience.
00:41Yeah, I think a player-caddy relationship is vital.
00:44I certainly have leaned on my caddies throughout the years for information and their opinions.
00:50You know, obviously the player makes the last call, but I think it's nice to get the input.
00:55We spent a lot of time studying our audience and how they interacted with the game,
00:59and one of the things that we found was they weren't seeing all the different elements of being out on
01:05the golf course.
01:06The way the wind's blowing, if the ball's below your feet or above your feet, if you're hitting uphill or
01:11downhill,
01:12what's the weather, what's your lie, all those different things the caddy's thinking about
01:17and making sure that he's setting you up with the optimum shot as you approach the green.
01:22What the caddy does, he actually simulates the shot starting at the green all the way back to the tee.
01:26So when the caddy sets up your drive, for example, what he's really looking at is where that drive's going
01:32to land
01:32and how it sets up your second shot or your approach to the green.
01:36So as you're playing the game, the caddy gains experience based on how many times you visit a course,
01:41how good you're playing the course, the level of your golfer based on our course mastery.
01:46So as you continue to hit these objectives, your caddy's going to be able to set shots up more accurately
01:51for you,
01:52have better club selections, know each one of the courses in the game a lot better.
01:57It's going to be pretty cool for most of the general public that plays the game
02:01because they're getting to see a little bit of the inside of what goes on with the caddy telling you
02:06wind direction or about how far the shot's going to play.
02:09It's going to let the general public realize that there's a lot more that goes into just stepping up
02:14and swinging at it as hard as you can.
02:15Please don't even appreciate it.
02:16I'm just looking forward to seeing a more video.
02:17Cheers!
02:19Thank you, everyone.
02:19Thanks for this all for all.
02:21Thanks for watching.
02:21You know that, in front of our country.
02:24Even the Mens at most, you can go pl haut up.
02:27I'm a multiple one.
02:27I'm always thinking about what is different people living in the city room at the entrance.
02:28We've been very two things.
02:28Hey folks, this guy's going to stop.
