00:17because honestly, the things that patients are going through out there is just unbelievable

00:26There are clinical trials around the world, in the US, in Australia, in China, that could
00:31change lives and we are not seeing them in the UK and it is unfair and unjust.
00:35So please, please invest and make the difference because I'm on my knees begging for not just
00:42my own life, but those are my best friends and those that are affected in the families
00:46all around the country.
00:47This has to change.
00:48Yes, it's been going on for too long and the suffering is unbearable.

00:53The Rare Cancers Bill is not going to be enough.
00:55It is a step in the right direction, but it is not going to cover, it's not going to make
01:00the changes that we need, but it's a step in the right direction and I'm extremely grateful
01:04for Dr Scott Arthur for the work he's done there.
01:07We've got a statement from the Department for Health in Westminster who say that the
01:10government's working to provide earlier detection and improve treatment for brain cancers through
01:14the Rare Cancers Act and will further support research and clinical trials in this area.
01:18How is daily life?
01:19Yeah, I mean, I appreciate that question and daily life is okay, but what's frustrating
01:23and we welcome the National Cancer Bill, the Rare Cancers Bill, but that Rare Cancers Bill
01:28we truly do not believe is going to be enough to make the changes.
