00:00Celtic have won 23 of their last 24 opening games at home.
00:04The exception was a nil-nil draw against Kilmarnock back in 2007.
00:12Work to be done here, though, as Kasper Poo prepares to start the second half.
00:19A couple of moments for him, but early days.
00:24Yes. So, the champions start the second half.
00:36Attendee have been well organised and well drilled again by Stephen Presley, a former Celtic player himself.
00:44He only played 25 times for them, but still ended up with a title and a Scottish Cup.
00:54Yeah, I think Martin O'Neill will be wanting a bit more room from his team in the second half.
01:02More intensity, quicker passing, especially in that final third.
01:08Here's Yang.
01:11Yang slips the pass in towards who?
01:15Tierney.
01:17Oh!
01:19Oh!
01:20Oh!
01:26I think from Stephen Presley's perspective, he would have been delighted with that first half showing.
01:33The guys in the studio said, brave on the ball.
01:37What better the longer the season went on.
01:40Last season, a lot of change over the summer in terms of personnel.
01:48Steven Presley had six years out of management.
01:51He was working in a development role at Brentford for four of those.
01:55But he is approaching nearly 400 games as a manager.
02:01Tierney for Yang.
02:03Let's go!
02:05Let's go!

02:14Let's go!
02:16Carteficas!
02:19Hamilton in the way of that.
02:30Sent back by Odeteo.
02:42Let's go!
02:48Here's Camilo Duran.
02:56I see that narrow four in midfield for Dundee, forcing the ball wide.
03:01And backing their fullbacks to deal with the Celtic wingers, which they have done so far.
03:12Duran.
03:24McGregor.
03:30Got away with that, Callum McGregor. That pass was never on.
03:35Johnston gets it back from Negrin. Ryan Astley across to clear.
03:55Trusty.
03:59Sport of the World Cup. He came back.
04:03This week he was given a little bit of extra time over there for personal reasons.
04:12Johnston.
04:14Had a really good World Cup with Canada.
04:16And there is a representative from Everton here tonight, watching him.
04:31Duran.
04:33I lifted that over brilliantly for Johnston.
04:38Yeah, he makes those underlapping runs, doesn't he?
04:44That's to Johnston.
04:47Duran really clever. He didn't take a good first touch.
04:52I think it was Finnegan who got across. Spotted the danger.
04:56Yep.
05:05Duran scored 15 goals for Carabag last season and 10 assists as well.
05:12About five of those girls in the Champions League.
05:15Same number that Casper Hoop scored in that competition as well.
05:18Duran scored in the Champions League.
05:19Duran scored 15 goals for the team.
05:19Duran scored 15 goals for the team.
05:26Duran scored 15 goals for the team.
05:27Johnson.
05:27Johnson, has cleared away from Hu, Riley, closed down by Carter Vickers, that could benefit
05:48Celtic, then again, maybe not, Mugen, the wrong side of the pass from Yang, don't do
05:57the heavy weather of clearing this, but it will do now.
06:02I think Duran's hurt himself in that. Shutting, Gutmann down, the keeper, just a couple of really
06:13careless passes from Celtic, not making the most of opportunities which open up in that
06:22final third.
06:33McGregor, Engels, now Yang, Engels, McGregor takes over, Yang, Tinney, now that's a cross,
06:52and that's a goal for Benjamin Negrin.
07:00Last season's top scorer for Celtic is at it again, and that has given Celtic Park a much-needed
07:10lift.
07:14He's got that wonderful instinct, Benjamin Negrin, just drifting into the right place
07:22at the right time, and there he is again.
07:24Dundee get too deep, they do.
07:25It's a perfect ball from Tierney, he can come on to that first time, fist in, Negrin makes
07:34the run, he's onside and just has to control the header, he knows.
07:38He knocks that down and it's on target from that range, he's going to score.
07:43Little daft header.
07:46And Celtic have puffed, they have puffed, and Negrin has finally put them ahead.
07:5421 goals last season, up and running this season, Celtic's player of the year.
08:03Ciaran Tinney, who provided 12 assists last season as his first of this season.
08:09Joe Bevan, though, and Riley linking up here, needing Carter Vickers to block it.
08:16Greg had just dived in there and all of a sudden opened up for Joe Bevan,
08:21who took a bit of a knock there with that Carter Vickers challenge.
08:28One throw time.
08:31Dundee looked for an instant response.
08:50Those long throws have presented problems for Selznick, but not on that occasion.
08:55It's met by Johnston.
08:58Drave Wright sends it back in.
09:00Joe Bevan's header weak.
09:02It's not a great header, should go back across and try and find a teammate.
09:07I think he was trying to do just way off.
09:11Ian chasing Owen Bevan across.
09:20Hegrin.
09:22Engles.
09:26McGregor.
09:29Johnston for Duran.
09:37Duran for Johnston, screened by Finnegan.
09:46He's taking up a really good position.
09:49Making the run and Duran spots him.
10:03ihnic to keep learning the
10:10Has given that wonderful cross for Negrin.
10:23McGregor, Engles, got a second chance, Tierney, Chirvevan, puts it behind for a corner.
10:35Physically they may just be waning, Dundee, work so hard.
10:42Defensively, a block passes, Benjamin Negrin goes short to McGregor, Tierney, Negrin, Duran, that
11:07was good.
11:08Well, it sticks with Owen Gibran, great little first, wasn't it, from Duran to...
11:17It was Hamilton, he rolls there, brilliant pace, and then they're just doing up Dundee.
11:37Several rows back from armour angles.
12:05Wesley, Riley, Murray, taken out by Jan Wright.
12:11He's right in front of Matthew McDermott.
12:31Dundee have lost on 23 of their last 25 visits to Celtic Park.
12:40This may well be a big ask of them now.
12:43I think they'll still play with the balance and just haven't offered enough going forward
12:51have they in the final third.
12:53He's brave with the press.
12:56Now Celtic are good enough to play through that high press.
13:00When they get a chance, they've got to gobble it up at Dundee.
13:24He's going to make a double change shortly, which will see the arrival of Finn Robertson
13:29and Ashley Hay.
13:47Simon Murray and Charlie Riley will be going off, we think, to allow Robertson and Hay to
13:53play apart.
13:55Engels.
13:56Negrin.
13:57Trying to slip Yang in here, Dre Wright.
14:02Sorted it out, but it will be corner.
14:05I've enjoyed that contest.
14:07Yang against Dre Wright.
14:17By the way, there were 14 passes in the lead-up to Benjamin Negrin's goal.
14:29Farmer Engels meantime, stands over this corner.
14:38Sent away by Owen Bevan.
14:42Given away by Yang.
14:46That's clear a free kick, as you'll see.
14:49And those changes will happen now.
14:52Simon Murray, Charlie Riley will make way.
14:55Ashley Hay, who scored in the first two League Cup ties this season, will come on.
15:00He didn't score until December last season, but ended up with five goals.
15:05A couple of them in the Dundee Derby.
15:09Dundee fans like him and what he brings.
15:14And local Dundee boy Finn Robertson will also come on.
15:21Scored in the opening game of last season against Hibs.
15:26And already has won this season in the League Cup.
15:31Looks like that's like for like going out to that left-hand side.
15:36Robertson with A as a central striker.
15:38I've got to say, I'm surprised Benjamin Negrin didn't see yellow for that challenge.
15:42He can't play rugby.
15:46I think Dundee was rather lenient there.
15:54Bevan.
15:58It's away by Johnston, back by Bevan.
16:01Johnston there again.
16:04Here they go.
16:07Negrin.
16:09Kasper Ho.
16:10Has a bit to do.
16:15Yep, trying to find the other new signing there with the back heel.
16:20Not on point, it hasn't quite happened for tonight just yet.
16:35Then goes for Young.
16:43Negrin.
16:49You can see they're tiring though.
16:52Central midfield duo of Finnegan and Hamilton have worked so hard trying to screen the Dundee back line.
16:59And then...
17:013v2 to deal with in there.
17:09Young.
17:09Tilly.
17:19Jonson for McGregor.
17:22Negrin for McGregor.
17:25Johnston.
17:27Duran.
17:30Away by Bevan.
17:33Back to Duran.
17:34Tilly.
17:54He's got some legs, taking on Trusty here, Trusty sees him up, that wasn't the best ball
18:06Really excellent from Bevan, I love that, positive play, backed himself but Trusty, he's no slouch, he got back and
18:14defended that very well in the end
18:19Ingles, wrong choice, tried to force that, McGregor was to pass all day long there
18:27Here's Robertson
18:34I don't know what he saw there, Rana Ingleson
18:53Hamilton, Robertson
18:58Negrom
19:01Duran takes over
19:06Vevan took charter
19:30There we go, this was
19:32Talking about there, Ingles has a little look, tries to force that to Benjamin D'Egrim when
19:40McGregor would have been in, left hand side of the box, an easy pass, poor decision, poor execution
19:46Can't get belly beneath me, didn't get the pass
19:53Bevan, right
19:57Trey Wright's got that all wrong
20:02The right and the wrong
20:13Steven Presley will have a few positives to take in this game but he would quite like to take a
20:18bit more than that
20:24Just like to see, Sinesele's trying to drop that in there, three for three at the back, he can go
20:29as big and as long as he wants there
20:33If who wins the flick, Yang and Duran are on the move, then Celtic will be in business
20:46Yang
20:47Yang
20:47Han
20:56Cutay vickis
20:58Duran
20:58Second time for Johnston
21:19Johnston
21:21excelled for Canada
21:23Dundee's goalkeeper was in the same squad
21:25but didn't play
21:26Yang takes that on
21:28Goodman stays
21:29and Ashley has been caught
21:32by Hu
21:33and will get the free kick on the rebound
21:35yeah decent strike from Yang
21:36I thought he could have taken that on though
21:40long way out
21:4130 yards
21:42has space to drive into
21:44Goodman gets his feet moving well
21:46and then
21:48Hu
21:51tries to anticipate that
21:52on the rebound
21:53it is a foul
22:00Celtic away to Kilmarnock next weekend
22:04then
22:05they go to Dundee United in the League Cup
22:08before their Champions League playoff
22:10the draw made today
22:12Lask Linz of Austria
22:19picked Sturm Graz to the Austrian title
22:23Sturm Graz who
22:24have already seen off
22:26hearts this season
22:35Engels
22:37floats a lovely pass to Yang
22:42see any
22:43obviously in support
22:51Duran
22:58Johnston
22:59Tierney
23:00onto the right foot
23:02the space is opening up for Celtic
23:06moving the ball
23:08quickly a bit of purpose
23:09Negrin nice pass
23:10wrong foot for Tierney
23:16Celtic won that second though
23:20just the one
23:22Dundee
23:23I feel
23:24I don't have a chance of getting back in this
23:33well that has been the usual late drama
23:35on the opening
23:37weekend of the
23:38Scottish Premiership season
23:43Celtic certainly had their fair share of that
23:47last season
23:49still a quarter of this contest to go though
23:56Celtic
23:57seeking a second
24:01to keep Dundee at bay
24:15McGregor
24:18that's Maho's flick
24:20went nowhere
24:23yeah
24:25Migra
24:28McGregor
24:29McGregor
24:30Duran
24:39Duran
24:39Trosti
24:42Tierney
24:42looking to set up a second goal and
24:44Otteo takes no chances
24:46putting that behind
24:47they're getting the run around now
24:48Dundee
24:50not really offering a threat going forward
25:12Duran
25:13not really offering a threat going forward
25:18He's picked out McGregor, such a clean striker at the ball as we've seen from distance so often, but not
25:25on that occasion.
25:26A bit of disguise on the corner, you fancy Callum McGregor from that situation, don't you?
25:32Certainly to work the goalkeeper, hit the target.
25:43Into the last 20 minutes.
25:49The head of Carter Vickers, but Ashley Hay is showing interest.
25:54Handed by Johnston.
25:58It is a Dundee throw.
26:03Yes, Brian Ashley is coming over to launch it.
26:23They have one of your first balls from these.
26:27What will happen with this one from Ashley?
26:29Mr Johnston having none of it.
26:36Up by Dre Wright.
26:39Headed from Engels.
26:42Shinnegan.
26:44Fended off Casper Hu.
26:56Dundee offering little, but Celtic's lead remains a slender.
27:03Dundee's next two games are both against Aberdeen in the league and League Cup.
27:09He goes against Sinisalo, dropping that in, that's got to go big and long.
27:13Engels has made the run.
27:22Dundee are going to bring on one of their new signings, Adam Forrest, a brother of James Shortley.
27:28He came on for heart here actually on the final day of last season.
27:35Regan.
27:36Not there eventually.
27:41Back heel in that situation wasn't the best idea, perhaps.
27:46McGregor.
27:52Engels...
28:10Trostny, Celtic in control but would quite like a second goal just to make absolutely
28:14sure of matters. Tierney needs some pass for angles but that's straight through to Goodman.
28:43Celtic there really pinning Dundee in in this second half. Good at 1-0, you never know.
29:08Negren, that's the wrong side of who?
29:12Rodrigo.
29:20Alan Forrest is coming on and James Forrest is warming up at the moment.
29:30We'll see that Bevan can match Trosty.
29:36He backs himself, doesn't he, Trosty? Bevan, I think Joe Bevan's had a good game actually.
29:47Dundee's most threatening player.
29:54Yes, he joined in the winter window last season.
29:58Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go!
30:10Approaching the final quarter of an hour.
30:13Going to start?
30:15McGregor.
30:17Go!
30:26Go!
30:27Go!
30:27Go!

33:13yeah i mean i thought he was neat and tidy there were some signs it decent link up with mr
33:21johnston
33:25yeah james forrest and tinecti
33:29off now two wide players off two on
33:35this is a dundee corner making those changes prior to that finn robertson is the man to take it
33:43it's going to come back in his direction
33:46he wouldn't have been offside anywhere
33:51well that was a terrible attempt wasn't it
33:55offside or not
33:59it's going to have been offside
34:04so
34:05alan forrest uh had to wait for his brother to come on first
34:09now he is the younger brother alan
34:21brad halliday will also be coming on for dundee for the 400 league
34:27game of his career
34:30to bevan who's had his moments will be one of those to make way
34:35and forrest came on for hearts here on the final day of last season now comes on for dundee on
34:41the opening day
34:42of this and dre right will also make way for brad halliday and the like for like
34:55surprise bevan has come off because it was dundee's biggest threat but
34:59will be tiring a little bit alan forrest gets his opportunity can he make his mark
35:12painful memories of saltic park for alan forrest right at the end of last season
35:21not for his brod mode
35:27the final 10 minutes
35:40hey robertson
35:49hamilton
35:50and seltec are going to bring on colby donovan in place of
35:53kieran tierney
36:04brian ashley now
36:10halliday forrest well that's a cross ashley hay's header a swift reaction from sinisalo
36:17to keep it out it's an excellent save the ball right on point it's a good header from ashley hay

36:33it's all it takes though so it'll take only one up in the squeaky bum time now
36:47forrest
36:50robertson
36:55robertson
36:56this was a
36:58sinisalo save
37:00a good really good header pace on the cross
37:05he's creeping into that far corner
37:09luke mccowan who spent three years at dundee
37:13also going to come on here
37:17yep directs it superbly
37:20it's going to be moving well
37:23good strong hand
37:26colby donovan will replace kieran tierney
37:29and will slot in at left back as he did in the
37:32pre-season game against milan when he also came on for tini
37:36the goal scorer benjamin negrin is replaced as luke mccowan comes on
37:42and mccowan came on and scored a late winner on the opening day of last season here against st miran
37:56o'neill would have referred a bit more comfort going into the closing stages but one nil it remains
38:08which was the same score when dundee came here last season dies in mind as goal settled that
38:25is
38:26mr johnson has actually come across to uh left back with bonadon on the right
38:31sinisalo aims towards donovan and that falls now for forrest to nette
38:44oh
38:47mccowan
38:50away by
38:54donovan and forrest on that right side now
39:02and casper who thought his big moment had come there
39:09well price smile from
39:12that's for who but
39:16he's got to hit the target there six yards out that would have been game set and match and celtic
39:22still have work to do he just slips a little bit but it hasn't been his night
39:32just have seven goals already this season with the norwegian season starting earlier
39:41just hasn't been able to stick one away tonight but i'm sure it will come judging by
39:48the remarkable record the remarkable record he had that bodo glint
39:56mcgregor
39:58charging forward
40:01oh it's up the first of calvin mcgregor forrest
40:05puts it wide as he looked to score for an a-team successive season for santa
40:11so unlucky isn't he calum mcgregor such great awareness where the space is
40:17sees the space drives the space little shift onto that right foot
40:23i think for a moment he thinks he scored and that's wide from james forrest
40:29unlucky curls it beautifully
40:31he thumps off the post
40:37celtics still have work to do
40:43final five minutes
40:49actually hayes onto that robertson in towards wesley
41:24has had a good game and just did enough
41:33i mentioned earlier that celtic scored nine winning goals from the 86th minute
41:39onwards of our season which brought them 18 points
41:48six of those in the 90th minute and beyond
41:55we don't need to win this game we're already doing that but a second goal would finally
42:01seal it
42:04forrest
42:04halliday
42:21asleep
42:29forrest
42:34Hannaday, Alan Forrest gets the cross in but Sinisalo will take that before Joe Wesley can get anywhere near it.
42:41Good anticipation from Sinisalo, he's been good, Forrest, since he's come on.
42:52Let's hear of Forrest.
43:04I don't know, James Forrest together on the pitch for the tenth time.
43:11James won eight of the previous nine and the other was drawn.
43:20And here he is.
43:27McCowan.
43:30Johnston.
43:33Tenechti.
43:36Forrest, lovely centre, Tenechti blazes over.
43:43His face says it all, the build-up play is really excellent.
43:49And Forrest, clever little backhealer, opens up, gotta hit the target.
43:54Celtic making heavy weather at this now, should be out of sight and they're not.
44:02As it stands, there will be only three minutes added on.
44:08That's Celtic Park.
44:12Finnegan.
44:16Hamilton.
44:18Asaita.
44:19He does love the Hoosah so much.
44:22He's a crew left at this.
44:26He's not too far away.
44:28He's looking at what you're doing.
44:29He's looking at what you're doing.
44:30Looking a pot shot from there.
44:34He had his own goal of the season competition at Dundee last season, as we mentioned.
44:39Three goals.
44:41Four stunners.
44:42Carroll back up round one, starts August the 6th.
44:4735 games available on Sky Sports.
45:07He's taking a sole one there from Luxley He.

46:18This is it for Dundee.
46:23Two minutes on the clock.
46:25A chance to load one into the Celtic box.
46:31Well, it was Blair Spittel for Hearts.
46:35At the end on the final day of last season.
46:37On the opening day of this season.
46:38It's a free kick for Finn Robertson.
46:41competitor.
46:49Robberson gets good height on that.
46:52Way back on the back goes and Ryan Finnegan blew his big jumps.
47:00yep not an easy one for finnegan but finnegan fluffs it
47:09that's that's woeful got to get his left hip up nice and high there and

47:53Alan Forrest
47:58Forrest again
48:02not half making
48:04every work of this Celtic
48:21it is a winning start for Marcel O'Neill and Celtic
48:25not as comfortable as they would have wished but many a chance was spurned in their quest to score a
48:33second
48:35Benjamin Negrim with the only goal of the game carrying on from where he left off after
48:4021 in his first season of the club he accepted Kieran Tierney's invitation to score but that was it
48:49as far as the goals were concerned there was always a concern for Celtic that Dundee might get one
48:56Stephen Presley will take a bit out of this despite the result and Celtic will take the three points Chris
49:03yeah I mean that's what was the important thing from Martin O'Neill's perspective
49:09Celtic team get the three points
49:11and on to the next game Kilmarnock next week
49:14I thought Dundee were really well organised and
49:18in a good shape about them didn't offer enough going forward there the hay header
49:22laid on which Sinasalo saved Celtic made heavy weather of it though
49:27should have won by more missed some chances
49:30feel there's a lot more to come from this Celtic team
49:34for this job done
