00:30I think for almost the first time today, Little Trek seemed to have been swamped by everybody, but Jonathan Milan
00:36himself, he's almost dispensing with his own teammates. I think he's got one to help him. Simone Consoni will be
00:42his lead-out man, and in fact, he's absolutely where he needs to be. A few others. T-Rex crew
00:48are coming through. Paul Manier is being guided up rather nicely. They've got the sort of ivory-coloured sleeves for
00:54this race over on the right-hand side of your screen.
00:57And Bogoslawski is making his way up for Poland, and look how much ground they've got to play with. 3
01:04.9 kilometres from home.
01:07Now, this is where the sequence of turns begin. In about 300 metres' time, they're going to take a high
01:15-paced right-hander spearing over a roundabout.
01:19So that will be the first of the tests that they've got to deal with here. There's quite a bit
01:23of street furniture out there as well. Tudor also getting involved with Forever, and this will be for Michael Zylard.
01:31And mobbing the centre of the road. Still, one pulling the pin. DeCathlon, here's that right-hander I was telling
01:36you about. There it is. It's quite pesky, Brian. That's a compression.
01:40If you knew the road, knew the approach, you could take a big, big bite out of that.
01:44Yeah, it really slowed them down there. It strung itself out a little bit north with Tudor and the black
01:50up towards the front. So they have numbers at the front, whether it's for Froidvois or Zylard.
01:56Zylard will have to wait and see. I think Froidvois would be their best bet. But inside the last three
02:00kilometres, there's a few teams being pushed out of place.
02:04But Red Bull, Bora Hansger are still there in their left-hand side. Picnic Poster now also moving up on
02:10their left-hand side. But good job being done by Tudor Pro Cycling for the moment as we get another
02:16squeeze.
02:16Yeah, we do. Another squeeze. This is a big compression. Next turn that they've got to deal with of significance
02:22is coming up in about 200 metres' time.
02:24It's a left-hander. Should be high-paced as well. It's into a kind of a square, which doubles up
02:30as a roundabout.
02:31Arda Klukes is doing a fantastic job of pacing Froidvois and Zylard at the moment. And they're kind of getting
02:37a little bit more pounded.
02:39Rolling a little bit is Picnic Poster now with Bistro Boss and Timo de Jong. Great to see them involved.
02:44And indeed, it's Decapton here with Gutmustad, who's in a very handy position. Lost sight of some of the favourites
02:50just for the time being.
02:51And here it comes. They've dealt with that turn. Now, two kilometres out is after this gentle little adjustment.
03:0266 kilometres an hour. Now, this is reasonably straight, down to about 1.3 kilometres to go.
03:08So they're going to a little tiny dip here. Nice pickup as well. Sam Welsford being guided in here by
03:15Sam Watson.
03:16Fabulous job in the centre of the road. Kogut still in the frame with Brady Gilmour and Hugo Hofstetter doing
03:23a job.
03:231,500 metres remaining. Get ready for this high-paced left-hander that we're just about to take that will
03:31bring us to the Flamme Rouge.
03:34There it is. It's a pedalling through a corner, this one. No need to raise the blade on the inside.
03:40You can just, indeed, keep stamping on the pedals through the curve. That's exactly what they do.
03:44Now, there's the big drive. They've got to come all the way down to this double phaser, if you will.
03:50There is a roundabout at about the 550 metre mark. So watch it count down for you and count down
03:57to a little bit of glory.
03:58And Boris Lasky has picked this one up. I think it's his teammate, Pavlak, who's actually leading him out at
04:05the moment.
04:06Oh, there's a bit of shilly-shally movement all over the road.
04:09XDS Astana with Malachelli in a very good position.
04:12But if Education, are they going to nail this one, they're going to be first into it.
04:15Now, this is wise. Now, they drift over to the other side of the road.
04:19They're on the shortest way home. Absolutely fantastic pickup.
04:22Werner Berg and Noah Hobbs, they've got to jump on just about everybody.
04:26I think after a long, long day, this has been a very, very difficult trial.
04:30Milan's out of position at the moment.
04:32It's his teammate, Consoli, who might have the opportunity to just pick it up and go for it.
04:37Malachelli's waiting to go for it. Milan's there as well.
04:40Last 300 metres. Milan's still trying to get back and on to position.
04:44Can't do it. Harry Deverser slightly is the tricolore.
04:48Battles his way through. We're going to get a heads up now.
04:50It's all the way to the line. My goodness, it could be a famous win here.
04:54Let's have a look. Jonathan Milan's going to own it and does so.
04:58Lives up to the billing. Absolutely superb.
05:01Had to work extremely hard to fight his way through.
05:04Lost his lead-out man and then re-found the drive to get up the hill and deliver.
05:12Well, the Italian champion takes this one from Paul Magni.
05:16I think Noah Hobbs is up.
05:20Please tune with anhíssini.
