00:00The Ukrainian capital, Kiev, has been hit by another severe and devastating Russian ballistic
00:05missile attack, resulting in at least nine deaths and dozens of injuries.
00:10According to Kiev Mayor Vitaly Klitschko, more than 10 explosions echoed across the city in quick
00:15succession. Residential buildings in the Shevchenkivsky, Darnitsky, and Solomianskyi
00:22districts have been severely destroyed, leaving several people trapped beneath the rubble.
00:26The situation is so critical that a missile also landed near the Lithuanian embassy,
00:32spreading panic throughout the entire area. However, Ukraine was quick to retaliate following
00:38the attack. Ukrainian drone sent a large Russian container ship, the Yenina, straight to the
00:44bottom of the Black Sea. Russia's state-owned company Rosatom has confirmed the incident,
00:50labeling it as, piracy, while reporting that all 17 crew members were safely rescued.
00:56Meanwhile, following this ferocious airstrike, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has
01:01intensified his urgent calls for air defense systems and Patriot interceptors.
01:06Recently, Zelenskyy met with U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington, D.C., to request
01:12a license to manufacture Patriot missiles locally in Ukraine. However, the Trump administration
01:18has stated that extreme caution is being exercised before sharing such sensitive technology,
01:23and discussions are still ongoing. The question arises, will these escalating attacks push
01:29the war into a new and even more dangerous phase?
