Ever wondered how companies ensure a tiny memory card is compatible with thousands of devices? I visited a testing facility to find out, and discovered a playground of gadgets from vintage cameras to modern consoles.

00:00How do these companies know that these micro SD cards and storage works with my devices?
00:05Well, I've literally found out here, and it is an absolute playground of devices.
00:11They have consoles dating years and years ago.
00:14They've got cameras all the way back to the 1990s.
00:17They've even got that Nintendo Switch that your mum probably bought,
00:21but it was actually a fake Nintendo Switch.
00:23The micro SD card works in that as well.
00:26And they have all the different testing capabilities here too.
00:28Not only that, they also have full x-ray machines.
00:30They do drop tests.
00:32They've even got like a little blade that falls in the middle of like SD cards
00:35to make sure that they're not going to break in half.
00:38It's a really cool place to be, I'm not going to lie.
00:42But I want to know your thoughts.
00:43Have you had any SD card compatibility issues?
00:46Probably not with Lexar, given how many things they test it with.
00:50But if you have, go ahead and let me know in the comments.
