00:00I know this is of course the second station that we've built on the line following its restoration in 2021
00:09and it's been such a success and we're now operating an hourly service in each direction which is brilliant
00:14and it's hugely outfripped any forecasts that we thought were possible for this line
00:20so an absolute success and I know some of you were here in 2021 when we opened Oakhampton station
00:28and in fact there may even be some of you that were here in 1972 when we closed the station
00:40last time round
00:40so it is a truly iconic day for us to be celebrating.
00:48So the two councils are absolutely not alone in their vision for better rail services along this corridor
00:55and there's many other campaigning groups, some of you are here today that have helped to get us to this
01:01point.
