New Senate bill seeks tax-free status for monthly earnings of ₱50k and below

Senator JV Ejercito filed Senate Bill No. 2341, aiming to exempt workers earning up to ₱50,000 a month or ₱600,000 annually from paying income tax. The proposal seeks to give middle-income families more spending power amid rising inflation and living costs.
