00:00I think for the whole run of this series, we have been able to bring in some of the
00:05most incredible actors to play all of these iconic roles from Greek mythology, from Rick's
00:12books, and with all the gods.
00:18We've always wanted to bring something different with each of them from a different part of
00:23the entertainment landscape in the world.
00:26And I was listening to a podcast, I think she was on Amy Poehler's podcast or something,
00:33and I just was hearing her voice, and obviously we're massive fans of Kate McKinnon, but hearing
00:40her just talk about her life and her life experiences, and I remember calling these
00:45guys and I was like, can we get Kate, should we see if Kate would want to do this, because
00:50she'd kind of be perfect for this.
00:52And we called, and then her people were like, she would love to be in this show, she loves
00:57the show.
00:58And that was it.
00:59And sometimes it is, it's as simple as that, where it's just like, you know, you find fans,
01:03or people who just want to play, you know, an iconic role like Aphrodite, and it was similar
01:09with Daphne.
01:10Like Daphne had actually known a lot of our cast.
01:12Yeah.
01:13They had like been on the young person circuit of Hollywood, and so she had become friends
01:19with a lot of the cast members.
01:21And so when we reached out to her, it was just like, oh, I get to come play with my
01:24friends?
01:25Right.
01:26So she jumped right in.
01:28Right.

01:28And she jumped right here.
01:29And she was like, oh, girl.
01:29And she started driving on her.
01:30I mean she's a.
01:30So she just had an amazing son who I quit.
