01:27We all were very inspired by him.
01:30It's really hard to be a pessimist when you're living in such beauty.
01:36Actually, that beauty is all around all of us all the time.
01:39But Schindler knew how to read it and how to bring it in.
01:43So it was part of your life.
01:45That was his genius.
01:47And then, unlike being a young architect looking at Schindler
01:51and using that as your basis at the beginning of your work,
01:54it's more now finding connections of things that you find valuable in your own thinking
02:01about what architecture should or shouldn't be.
02:04And now there's this deep connection to Schindler as an architect
02:08and very particularly to his house on Kings Road.
02:13An outsider, on a path of his own.
02:17He was modern in the purest way.
02:20That he prevailed against all odds is a testament to his unique and lasting vision.
