00:00For the past few years, I have inculcated a habit of being a little more critical
00:05and more curious about what is being taught to me.
00:09Sir, why?
00:09But how do we know that?
00:10May I ask a question?
00:11Why is that so?
00:12Can we question this assumption?
00:15Never be afraid of questions.
00:17Some of the greatest scriptures are the Upanishads.
00:21How do they proceed?
00:23Through questions.
00:24Through questions.
00:25The same thing that we find in Socrates.
00:28He did not write any books.
00:30He would simply have dialogues.
00:32Same thing in the Upanishads.
00:35The student asks and the teacher responds.
00:38You know the funny thing.
00:39Sometimes the answer is shorter than the question.
00:44The rishis respected their time much more than I do.
00:47The teacher has said something and the student proceeds from there and there and there.
00:51It's a thread.
00:52And it's so beautiful.
00:53That's why the Upanishads are respected till this date.
00:57So question the teacher and also question the questioner.
01:03Question both of them simultaneously.
01:06Question both of them.
01:08Question both of them.
01:11Question both of them.
01:12Question both of them.
01:12Question both of them.
01:12Question both of them.
