01:37As a city, as a community, as a society, we have to do better.

01:45It does not matter who you are or what your past is.
01:52You should not lose your life as a result of an encounter with law enforcement.
02:07I think this family deserves real answers, not just a press conference.
02:12They deserve a department.
02:14And the community deserves a police department worthy of the trust needed to serve the community.
02:19I intend to spend whatever time I have in this job continuing that work.
02:24Not because it's easy, but again, I can't do this job and our police department can't do their job without
02:29all of you.
02:30Zero power to Zionists.
02:31Zero power to capitalists.
02:33Zero power to colonialism.
02:35This man signed up to be an enforcer of imperialism.
