'Parikrma' is about a pilgrimage that is under taken by diverse people to the holy land of Mayapur. A widow and her son, a prostitute, her paramour, his wife, a shrewd and cunning money lender, his wife, people who want to kill the money lender, a thief, a gambler and a pious religious man Bhuvan are all a part of this pilgrimage which brings their life to full circle. They realize that surrender to Krishna or Chaitanya is the only source of joy.
