01:18and the Constitutional Club of India has been chosen, is what we have been told.
01:23It's great. We hope that the government comes with an open mind
01:28and it will listen to the people of this country who have been out on the roads for so long.
01:34Are you going to have a meeting at the Constitutional Club of India?
01:36Yes, that is where we ask the government to hold the meeting,
01:41or any other neutral place for that matter, or even here at Jantramantar.
01:46However, if the ministers concerned have doubts about Jantramantar per se,
01:53we don't have objections.
01:56We are all very educated, rational people.
01:58We know they might be afraid to come here because of security situation.
02:02So we offered them an alternate option,
02:06which was for it to be at a neutral venue,
02:09like the Constitutional Club of India or the Press Club of India,
02:12or any of those non-politically-affiliated institutions.
02:18J.P. Nadda has been on the forefront of this call, right?
02:22So with that, is the meeting going to be with J.P. Nadda?
02:25Has you got any confirmation that who all are the ministers going to be here?
02:29I think we do know that Nadda is there.
02:32I don't know who else will be there.
02:33And also, you guys had some dissatisfaction last time,
02:36and you guys were very open about it.
02:38You guys have to wait.
02:39Your phones were taken away.
02:40All those demands have been met all of them.
02:41Yes, absolutely.
02:42See, our time is very precious, and so is theirs.
02:46However, there should be mutual respect for everybody.
02:48Last time, we were almost illegally detained at J.P. Nadda's house
02:53for four hours for a 10 to 15-minute long meeting.
02:57Our phones were taken away initially.
02:59Later on, when we said that, you know,
03:01we will stage a dharna if we are not given our phone,
03:04if we are not allowed to communicate with the outside world,
03:06where a brutal crackdown was happening by the Delhi police,
03:09that is when they allowed it inside also.
03:27See, the measures suggested by the Prime Minister,
03:33first of all, starting with the fast-track codes,
03:35it doesn't really solve the problem.
03:37It's a band-aid measure.
03:38You know, the fast-track codes are,
03:40how are they usually created?
03:42They are not created afresh.
03:44The existing codes, where there's huge pendency,
03:47five-true pendency in Indian judiciary,
03:49especially in the lower codes,
03:50those codes are designated as fast-track codes.
03:53So they think they are solving a problem,
03:56when they really are not.
03:57And in the process, creating more problems for the judiciary.
04:00So what we really need is a holistic approach
04:03to this issue of paper leaks,
04:05about the issue of education reforms.
04:07You can't create another problem,
04:09another severe pendency in the judiciary also,
04:12because of this reason, right?
04:14As far as the law goes,
04:16I mean, no law is made in such haste.
04:21Laws have to be made after a lot of deliberation, discussion.
04:24So I would like to tell the people of this country,
04:26the protesters who are out on the streets,
04:29do not accept this eye wash.
04:33Because laws cannot be made in a day or two.
04:36They have to be thought through,
04:37they have to be scrutinized in parliament,
04:38it has to go before a standing committee,
04:40they have to consult people who have devoted decades of their lives to the education sector.
04:45Sir, I am Professor Arshid Arshmi,
04:47let me tell you very frankly,
04:49all of you guys are doing fantastic work.
04:51A few years later,
04:52it was this type of euphoria,
04:53that was the support of my colleagues.
04:56But this is the same question.

06:35So I think their demands will continue, the protests will continue, we are not backing out.
06:41We have given a call for nationwide protests tomorrow.
06:44Let there be a Janter Mantar in every district of this country
06:48because a real awakening starts from the grassroots and that is what we really need.

09:02कोई भी छोटे मोटे आदमी को जो उसमें लिंग्ड है, right?
09:06Our focus is on prevention. One is that prevention of paper leaks needs to happen.
09:11Second, accountability has to come in the system.
09:15Papers are getting leaked because one, incompetent people are heading the ministry,
09:19heading the department. That needs to be changed.
09:22And second, there has to be a mechanism. You can't just say that once it is leaked,
09:27we will do, you know, fast track course, this and that. No.
09:30In our charter as well, we have given detail.
09:33Student also needs to be given rights. Abhi leak ho gaya.
09:36उसके बाद students का भी तो compensation होना चाया, na?
09:38कुछ, उनके भी तो कुछ right होने चाया.
09:44Summa with a bill, we will discuss in the cabinet also.
09:48So you are fighting, you are fighting, you are fighting for accountability now.
09:51Sorry, we are fighting for accountability.
09:54Which comes with the resignation of the education minister,
09:57under whose tenure, please tell me how many exams have been leaked, right?
10:01So that is the first one.
10:03Second step is trying to build again, rebuild the system.
10:06That is where Prime Minister has to come,
10:08and only fast-track courts cannot do it.
10:11The reform has to be major.
10:14You can't put a band-aid on a festering wound.
