00:00Iranian drone attacks on CIA facilities in the Gulf prompt US intelligence analysts to
00:05investigate whether Moscow provided targeting information to Tehran. In an exclusive Reuters
00:10report, four people familiar with US intelligence cite the strike's precision as well as Russia's
00:15broader technical support for Iran as possible evidence. An internal memo from a Western
00:20intelligence agency also concludes Russia likely played a role in targeting regional CIA facilities.
00:26Russia's assistance for Iran is long-standing, but specific targeting of sensitive CIA sites,
00:31if true, could mean Moscow is willing to go further in disrupting US operations.
00:36US intelligence officials have not yet reached a firm conclusion about the possibility of Russian
00:41involvement. The CIA declined to comment. Iran's mission to the UN, the Russian Defense Ministry,
00:47and the Saudi government did not respond to Reuters' requests for comment.
