00:01Hello and welcome. Welcome to video clip number two. This is by author. This is a Blender model and the
00:09author is down here on the screen. It's Ibrahim. I think that's how you pronounce the name. I'm not too
00:17sure.
00:17An individual. He's got some really nice assets and he's one of the artists who actually shares the content. It's
00:25great. Obviously you should go into Blender and you can rate the asset and you can give a message if
00:34you want to.
00:35As I said, I'll log back in later and I'll add my... yeah. Anyway, I'll show my appreciation to the
00:43man himself. As I said, it's a really nice asset. And not only is it a really nice asset, it
00:49gives you some really nice items to go with the classroom.
00:53I'll be great. The only thing I'm going to tell you, I'm looking to put it over in Redmond Alley.
00:59Not that there's a problem with the model. There's really not. It's a great looking model. It really is.
01:04I'm going to jump over to the Windows 3D viewer and I'm going to show you the model. I have
01:09customised twist bend and shaped the model. You see the size of the model? My one's a little bit smaller.
01:16Now, it's got more to me, but it's a bit smaller. I'll just show you. So I'll just go here.
01:22I'm hoping the artist is okay with this.
01:25As I said, the photo is there to show my appreciation to the artist. As you can see, this is
01:32exactly the same asset. See the asset? Now, if you look at the photo, you see the room?
01:39This is the layout, right? Look at the layout, and look at the model. It's exactly the same layout. Now,
01:49I'm going to zoom in. What I've done, I've added extra wool around the edge, and I've added a blender
01:56door frame, which is slightly off the floor.
01:59Right? It's not actually off the floor, because when you pull the floor out, there's no gap under the door.
02:09The floor goes exactly level with the door, just in case you're wondering about the floor.
02:16Yeah, so it's not actually off the floor, just so you understand that. But it might be off the floor,
02:21because this could be a different type of room.
02:24I left a little gap on top of the blender door, just a tiny little gap. As I said, the
02:29rest of the room itself, the whole room is made by the actual artist himself.
02:34I scaled the texture up, and look at it, the UV map. I want to show you the texture. If
02:41you go here, if you look at his texture, it doesn't actually look like the texture that I've got on
02:46it, but it is.
02:47What it is, he scaled it properly into the model, so it looks like actually concrete. That's what it looks
02:54like. As I said, I like the model to the same, because the model itself is great.
03:00I like the fact that he actually done the windows, where he had to actually transfer, which is actually great.
03:07As I said, the inside, and that's the outside. Right? So these are the blinds inside the classroom. I think
03:13it is great.
03:14Can I use it in my knowledge? There shouldn't be any reason why I can't. As I said, it's a
03:20free asset.
03:21But, as I said, even though it's a free asset, it doesn't particularly mean I can use it, but I
03:26can use this one, because this one is made by me.
03:29Now, so I'm thinking, okay, as I said, I like to give the thanks and credit back to the artist,
03:35because everything here, inside the room,
03:38it basically belongs to the artist, it just does. Okay? As I said, I like to make sure that the
03:44artist gets the full credit for the model.
03:46And, of course, over in Red Bandali, I will have the room associated in some kind of way with the
03:56actual artist.
03:57So I might actually take the name, or maybe his website, and stick it actually in the classroom.
04:03So if somebody goes in the classroom and says, well, who made the classroom? Well, you've got to know which
04:09artist made the actual classroom.
04:12And, as I said, that's my way of saying thank you in my pin world to the actual artist.
04:18That way, he's got more than one single opportunity to have people go and look at his content.
04:26As I said, don't matter if it's a male or female, it doesn't matter who is. As I said, I
04:30like the content.
04:31It's nice, easy, simple, plain. You say, well, is it available for download? Honestly, no.
04:37And I'll tell you the reason for that. The reason for that is because if I made this available, it
04:44wouldn't be fair on the artist.
04:46Because the artist himself is actually sharing the room. He goes, yeah, but the room don't look like your room.
04:53Because, yeah, you see the outside of the room here? Yeah, there's no wall here, and there's no wall here.
05:02Yeah, because the person himself, or whoever it is, they're using it with cameras.
05:09You know, for renders, they're using it as a render shot. That's what they're doing.
05:13Yeah, I'm not using it as a render. I'm using it as a game object. So this would be a
05:21game object in Red Bandana.
05:23So I'm going to throw it in there. It could be a very small school. Maybe there's only four students
05:30in the whole school.
05:32They say, wow, that's a really small school. Well, that is a small school. And as I said, later on,
05:39when you get to meet anyway, I don't want to spoil the content.
05:43As I said, I'm looking for all different assets, and I'll be gluing them all together. And I'll make them
05:47work together.
05:49So yes, so again, to the artist himself, thanks very much for the asset. I'm going to take it over
05:55to the Unreal Engine.
05:56And I'm going to drop it inside Red Bandana. And I'm going to see what it looks like when Emma
06:03is interacting with the game world.
06:05That's it. It looks pretty cool. All I'm going to do now is put a ceiling on top of the
06:10building.
06:11Because you have to have a ceiling on it, right? Because if you go inside the classroom, it's not going
06:15to have no ceiling.
06:17So yeah, so the next part of my video, I'll have the room complete. It's just going to look like
06:22that. The whole entire room will look like that.
06:25And the top of it, that way, when you go in the room, I might do the ceiling inside, white.
06:33So it kind of breaks the room up a little bit. But apart from that, yeah, I think it's pretty
06:38great content.
06:39So from me, and from Red Bandana, and from the artists over here, I'm going to say thanks very much
06:45for your interest in the content.
06:47And as I said, if you want to look at the manager's classrooms, and he's got other items as well.
06:53He's got different things.
06:55As I said, just go to Blender. I type the word there, school. Just type his name if you want
07:01to.
07:02As I said, I search by either by the name, if I know the name, or I search by the
07:10item that I'm actually looking for.
07:12And yeah, this man has got the actual assets that I kind of need for my game world.
07:18So stay safe, keep it friendly, and thank you again to the artists. See you next time. Bye.
