00:22Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, or IRGC, says it has attacked the central data infrastructure of Amazon in Bahrain, marking
00:34what would be a significant escalation if confirmed.
00:37In a statement carried by Iran's semi-official Tasneem News Agency, and later echoed by press TV, the IRGC claimed
00:47its aerospace force launched several cruise missiles targeting Amazon's central data infrastructure in Bahrain.
00:56According to the statement, the strike was carried out in retaliation for what Iran described as recent U.S. attacks
01:04on civilian areas and facilities under construction in Darkoven.
01:09The IRGC claimed the attack caused significant damage to the facility.
01:15The claim has not been independently verified, and U.S. authorities have not confirmed that an Amazon facility in Bahrain
01:23was struck.
01:24The reported attack comes as the military confrontation between Washington and Tehran enters its tenth consecutive night.
01:33U.S. Central Command, or CENTCOM, announced that American forces conducted another round of strikes against Iranian military targets late
01:44Sunday night.
01:44According to CENTCOM, the operation targeted military command centers, maritime capabilities, missile and drone launch sites, and air defense systems.
01:56The U.S. military said the objective remains to degrade Iran's ability to attack commercial shipping passing through the Strait
02:05of Hormuz.
02:06CENTCOM also stated that commercial shipping continues through the strategic waterway.
02:12Meanwhile, Iran has continued claiming attacks against American military positions across the region.
02:19Iranian officials say missile and drone strikes have targeted U.S. facilities in Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi
02:29Arabia, and Jordan, although several of those claims remain unverified.
02:34The growing confrontation has also taken a mounting human toll.
02:39The U.S. Department of Defense has identified the two American soldiers killed during an Iranian missile and drone attack
02:48in Jordan.
02:49They are First Lieutenant Tyler James Feehan, 25, of Hawaii, and Private Isabella Gonzalez, 19, of Texas.
02:58According to the Pentagon, Gonzalez died during Friday's attack, while Feehan later succumbed to his injuries.
03:07CENTCOM also confirmed a third American service member remains missing following the strike.
03:13Separately, another American soldier was killed in northern Iraq during the controlled disposal of unexploded ordnance recovered from a downed
03:23Iranian drone.
03:24A second service member was injured in that incident and is receiving medical treatment.
03:30According to the U.S. military, 17 American service members have now been killed since the conflict began, highlighting the
03:38growing risks facing U.S. personnel stationed across the Middle East.
