00:00Serial killers have the common trait of being cunning and very wise.
00:03This way, they have been able to get away with crimes easily,
00:06and even repeat them in many cases without being caught.
00:09Their high level of intelligence has made it easier for them to trick their victims,
00:13lure them, and murder them.
00:14However, the smartest serial killers also make mistakes which sometimes result in their arrest.
00:19In this video, we'll take a look at some of the dumbest serial killers who got caught on camera.
00:241. The Mannequin Killer
00:25Shane Allen Schindler is a U.S. serial killer who is also called the Mannequin Killer.
00:30Like most serial killers who target vulnerable people as their victims,
00:33Shane Schindler somehow enjoys ending the lives of homeless people
00:36and has been responsible for at least the murder of two homeless persons in Las Vegas.
00:41His location has been quite helpful so far since Las Vegas tops the list
00:45for one of the cities with the largest homeless populations in the country.
00:48It is estimated that about 9 out of 1,000 people in Las Vegas are homeless,
00:52and there's been an increase over the years instead of a decline.
00:55As a result, Schindler has always been successful in ending the lives of homeless people in Las Vegas.
01:01Homeless people are a soft spot for serial killers as they are vulnerable,
01:04and many questions won't be asked about them when they are gone.
01:08The hunt for the Mannequin Killer began after the police noticed some connections
01:12between two killings that happened in Las Vegas.
01:14The two crimes did not only happen at the same location,
01:17the two victims were homeless and slept in open areas.
01:20They also noticed that both victims died of severe injuries to the head.
01:24After establishing that these two killings could not be a mere coincidence,
01:28the men in blue launched an investigation into the matter.
01:31The first victim was 46-year-old Daniel Aldape, who, after losing his spot at a homeless shelter,
01:36was out on the cold street of Las Vegas.
01:38Daniel used to work at a radio station until things took a turn, and he didn't have a roof over
01:42his head.
01:42He didn't lose touch with his family during the whole time and would check in on them, calling every few
01:47weeks.
01:47Daniel had been sleeping on the street for about four months before the tragic incident happened.
01:51On a cold night on January 4th, 2017, Daniel was found with a devastating head injury that occurred while he
01:57was sleeping.
01:58His skull had been completely crushed.
01:59Just a month after Daniel's death, 60-year-old homeless man David Dunn was hacked to death while sleeping near
02:05the intersection of City Parkway and Grand Central Parkway, where Daniel was killed.
02:09A homeless man also reported that he was hit in the head while sleeping at the intersection, but never saw
02:14the assailant.
02:15The police connected the dots and concluded that a perpetrator was behind the three incidents.
02:19At this point, they needed to find the perpetrator, or else the body counts would keep increasing, and that might
02:24catch the attention of the media.
02:26However, they soon ran out of luck, as there were no surveillance videos in the areas and no witnesses, since
02:32the vacant lot was a deserted area.
02:34In an attempt to catch the perpetrator and gain hardcore evidence, they decided to go the old-fashioned way.
02:39The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department captain attached to the case came up with an idea.
02:45Captain Andrew Walsh suggested that a mannequin disguised as a homeless man be placed on the vacant lot to lure
02:51the serial killer.
02:52The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department dressed up a CPR mannequin to appear like a homeless man and planted it
02:58at the vacant lot, where Daniel and Dunn passed the night before they were hacked to death in their sleep.
03:03Since the spot was known to be a shelter for the homeless, no one could think it was a dummy
03:07or find it unusual.
03:08They set up cameras around the deserted area of downtown Las Vegas and had undercover officers patrolling the area.
03:15Once it was morning, they'd scoop the dummy and put it in their van till the next night.
03:19After three weeks of this routine, it finally paid off.
03:22On the 22nd of February, 2017, they watched as a man, who was later identified as Shane Schindler, paced around
03:28the intersection in the dead of the night.
03:30He brought out a four-pound ball-peen hammer and started hitting the dummy in the head repeatedly.
03:35He was probably thinking it was a defenseless homeless person he had just murdered.
03:39He slowly walked away, only to discover that he had just entered a trap and that the police were everywhere.
03:45The 30-year-old was arrested and taken to their station for questioning.
03:49Shane Schindler was charged with the attempted murder of an inanimate object and the death of Dunn and Daniel.
03:54However, the charges linking him to the death of the two homeless men were dropped since there was no substantial
04:00evidence that he really killed them.
04:01The video of him hitting what the court called a human decoy wasn't enough to convince them that he murdered
04:07Daniel and Dunn.
04:09The third homeless man who was assaulted couldn't identify him.
04:12However, Schindler admitted that he attacked the dummy, thinking it was a real person.
04:16As a result, he was sentenced to 20 years behind bars while other charges were dropped for lack of core
04:21evidence.
04:222. The crossbow cannibal
04:24While most serial killers got caught on camera by mistake or fell into a trap like you see Shane Schindler
04:29did,
04:29there are a few who didn't care after being caught on CCTV and continued killing as if nothing happened.
04:35Stephen Griffiths is one of the serial killers who didn't budge when caught on a CCTV camera after killing one
04:41of his victims.
04:42Instead, he did something unexpected.
04:44What exactly did he do?
04:45Well, we'll get to that in a moment.
04:47Stephen Sean Griffiths, also known as the crossbow cannibal,
04:50is a serial killer whose story seems too crazy to be real.
04:54Griffiths was never a fan of guns and only used them on his victims when he was just starting out.
04:58Instead, he preferred an equally terrifying weapon, the crossbow.
05:02This explains how he earned the nickname the crossbow cannibal.
05:05Griffiths, before he clocked the legal age, already had an impressive rap sheet.
05:09He was involved in shoplifting as a kid and was even sentenced to three years in youth custody at age
05:1417
05:14after slashing a clerk's face with a knife.
05:17He, however, lost contact with his parents while in confinement
05:20and didn't hesitate to share his dream of becoming a serial killer with his probation officer and psychiatrist.
05:26Griffiths grew up to become a menace to his community and Bradford at large.
05:29He was released after a year but soon returned to confinement.
05:33In 1989, Griffiths got into trouble because he had an air pistol with him.
05:37Before that, he had used the pistol to shoot birds and then he would cut them open to study their
05:41insides.
05:42Griffiths was then sentenced to 100 hours of community service as a punishment.
05:47After leaving the youth custody, he was again sentenced to two years behind bars
05:51after he held a knife to a girl's throat.
05:53His lifelong dream to become a serial killer became stronger as he grew older.
05:57Griffiths, at one point, began to study serial killers, focusing on the Moore murderies,
06:01Jack the Ripper, the acid bath murderer and the Yorkshire Ripper, which was his favourite.
06:06When Griffiths couldn't resist the urge any longer, he began to kill sex workers in the Bradford area.
06:11It was his way of honouring Peter Sutcliffe, the Yorkshire Ripper,
06:14who murdered about 13 women who were mostly sex workers in that same location.
06:19Griffiths became the face behind the Bradford murders,
06:22the serial killings of three sex workers in Bradford between 2009 and 2010.
06:27Griffiths would roam around Bradford's red light district in the middle of the night
06:30until he finds a sex worker.
06:32He was very strategic with his location as Bradford's red district was a den for vulnerable women.
06:37As a result, it was easy for him to find sex workers who would later become his victims.
06:42He would then take the victim to his flat and end their lives.
06:45The details of how Griffiths exactly murdered his victims remain unknown to this day.
06:50However, it was certain that Griffiths would dismember and cook the bodies of his victims.
06:54There were even some he ate raw.
06:57This explains how he got the cannibal in his nickname.
07:00He would then put the parts of his victim's body that he didn't consume in plastic bags
07:04and dispose of them in a nearby lake.
07:06Some body parts and human tissue of his last two victims
07:09were recovered from the River Eyre in Shipley, near Bradford.
07:13While following the footsteps of his favourite serial killer,
07:16Griffiths murdered a prostitute called Susan Rushworth on June 22nd, 2009.
07:21A year after, he resumed his killings by murdering another sex worker called Shelley Armitage.
07:26However, his serial killing came to an end with his last victim.
07:29Griffiths had lured Suzanne Blameyers, a sex worker, to his flat as usual.
07:33But she sensed something was wrong and attempted to escape.
07:36Griffiths shot her fatally with a crossbow and stabbed her.
07:39While exiting the scene with the murder weapon,
07:41a CCTV that was specifically fixed in the hallway to monitor Griffiths captured the whole incident.
07:47The police, in anticipation of an incident, had earlier instructed the housing association
07:52of the flat in which Griffiths lived to install a CCTV camera so they could monitor him.
07:57The crossbow cannibal stared at the CCTV for a while, then gave a finger to show he didn't care.
08:02Griffiths was arrested on 24 May by West Yorkshire police after he was caught on CCTV.
08:08In court, Griffiths introduced himself as the crossbow cannibal,
08:12the alias which later served as his official serial killer name.
08:15On 21 December 2010, Griffiths pleaded guilty to the murders of Susan Rushworth,
08:21Shelley Armitage and Suzanne Blameyers.
08:23He was sentenced to life without parole.
08:25Griffiths had attempted suicide several times while incarcerated,
08:28and once went on a 120-day hunger strike.
08:323. Granny Ripper
08:33If you are a serial killer who murders victims in your home,
08:36the last thing you should have in your apartment is a CCTV camera.
08:40This should be basic knowledge, but it seems Granny Ripper probably didn't see this as an issue.
08:44And this dumb mistake was all the police needed to solve the sudden disappearance of Tamara's husband
08:48and 10 other murders.
08:50Tamara Samsonova is a Russian serial killer who has been linked to over 14 killings between 2000 and 2015,
08:56most with extreme cruelty.
08:58She is also known as Granny Ripper,
09:00a reference to the powerful, sometimes dark figure from Slavic folklore.
09:04Tamara Samsonova began her serial killing during her late 50s.
09:07It is believed that Granny Ripper's first victim was her husband, Alexei Samsonova,
09:12who suddenly went missing in 2000.
09:14The authorities searched for his body, but found nothing.
09:16She probably murdered her husband and got rid of the body,
09:19but there is no evidence to back up the claim.
09:21According to some reports, Tamara Samsonova was obsessed with Andrei Chikatilo,
09:26a notorious Soviet murderer who confessed to 68 murders and was sentenced to death.
09:31A neighbour who had lived near Tamara Solomonova confirmed her obsession with the infamous Rostov Ripper.
09:37Granny Ripper had a history of mental illness and this could explain some of her weird behaviours.
09:41Tamara is suspected of battling schizophrenia and has been taken to psychiatric hospitals three times.
09:46After Alexei's death, she rented out a room in her apartment to a tenant who happened to be her next
09:51victim.
09:52Investigators claimed that she killed the tenant on September 6th, 2003, during a dispute.
09:57She then cut the tenant's body into pieces and left it on the streets of St. Desire's Way.
10:02Tamara Samsonova wrote down terrifying details of how she murdered and dismembered her victims in her diary.
10:08The police, while searching her apartment, found the diary,
10:11which contained details of some of her murderers.
10:13One of the entries contained details about her tenant's murder, where she said,
10:17I killed my tenant, Volodya, cut him to pieces in the bathroom with a knife,
10:21and put the pieces of his body in plastic bags,
10:23and threw them away in the different parts of Frunzenski district.
10:26The serial killing Granny Ripper confessed to 11 murders in the diary,
10:30which she kept in Russian, English, and German.
10:33However, the authorities have refused to release to the public more details of her diary,
10:37until the investigation ends.
10:39In March 2015, Tamara Samsonova asked a friend to shelter her,
10:43pending the time her apartment was being renovated.
10:46A friend of the two later convinced Ulanova to take Tamara Samsonova in.
10:5079-year-old Valentina Nikolaevna Ulanova agreed, since it was for a moment.
10:55The two began to live together at Ulanova's apartment on Dimitrov Street,
10:59with Tamara Samsonova helping with the housework.
11:01After some months of living together, Tamara started enjoying Ulanova's apartment,
11:05and refused to move out. But this didn't go down well with Ulanova,
11:09since that wasn't their agreement.
11:11Over time, the relationship between Samsonova and Ulanova turned sour,
11:15and the latter eventually told Samsonova to leave.
11:17It was at this point that Granny Ripper started considering murdering Ulanova.
11:21A conflict over unwashed cups triggered Tamara Samsonova,
11:25and she decided to poison her. Tamara Samsonova traveled to Pushkin,
11:29where she managed to convince a pharmacist who sold to her a prescription drug.
11:32On her way back to the city, she bought Ulanova's best dish, put the pills in them,
11:37and gave the unsuspecting woman. The overdose of sleeping pills knocked Ulanova out,
11:42allowing the serial killer to dismember her body with a hacksaw while she was still alive.
11:46On the night of July 23rd, Samsonova found Ulanova's body lying on the kitchen floor,
11:51and brought out two knives and a hacksaw to dismember it. The first thing she did was cut off her
11:56head
11:56with the saw and divide the body in half. She then proceeded to dismember her body into pieces,
12:01To take out the body which she had turned into pieces out of her apartment, Samsonova had to go
12:06outside and return several times. A CCTV across the stairs and outside the house filmed as the
12:11Granny Killer removed the body of her latest victim in a plastic bag. Three days after, Ulanova's
12:17headless body was found near a pond on Dimitrova's street. Since Samsonova was the caregiver for the
12:22victim, her name was on top of the list of suspects. The police knocked on Samsonova's doors and detained her.
12:27Upon searching her house, they found traces of blood in the bathroom. Samsonova's trial was full
12:32of a lot of drama. She was observed blowing kisses to the judge and reporters as she giggled. Samsonova
12:37was remanded to a state-run mental health facility in Kazan, where she still resides to this day.
12:434. The Grinder Killer. Nicknamed the Grinder Killer, Stephen Port John is a British serial killer and
12:48serial child. Rapist. Port, from a very young age, was described as a loner who exhibited some odd
12:54behaviors. He was often bullied at school during his early days. This probably contributed to him
12:59turning out as a serial killer and a menace to his community. Stephen Port drugged, assaulted,
13:03and killed four men between June 2014 and September 2015. The most surprising thing about his serial
13:10killing was that he carried them out in such a perfect way that the police couldn't find a nexus
13:14between the killings. Even though the connection was glaringly obvious, the Metropolitan Police were blind
13:19to see it. Port hid in plain sight, and as a result, he never ended up on their suspect list,
13:24all thanks to his mode of operation. Most of Port's killings were disguised as suicide and drug overdose.
13:30As a result, it took a while for the police to suspect foul play. The Essex native, who came out
13:34as
13:35gay in his mid-twenties, targeted his fellow gay partners whom he met on a gay-slash-bisexual social
13:40app. Port would go to this hookup app, set up a fake profile, and connect with interested sexual
13:45partners who later become his victims. In one profile, he claimed to be an Oxford University
13:49graduate. In another, he claimed to be a teacher for children with special needs. After setting up
13:54a meeting with his gay partners, Port would add GHB, a date rape drug, to their drink to knock them
13:59out.
14:00Afterward, he'd then rape his victims before ending their lives. When the dead bodies of these victims
14:04get recovered, the death will likely be dismissed as a drug overdose. This has been the fate of Port's four
14:10victims. As the autopsy revealed, they all died from a high dosage of GHB. The Grindr's first victim
14:16was a 23-year-old fashion student, Anthony Woolgate, who sometimes worked as an escort. On the 17th of
14:22June, 2014, Port requested Anthony's services, and they both went on a date after the serial killer
14:28offered the fashion student £800 for an overnight. Anthony went for the job with Port, who pretended to
14:33be a client but never came back alive. The two met at Port's flat in Barking, where he drugged and
14:38raped
14:38him to fulfil his sexual fantasies. In the early hours of June 19th, the Grindr killer dragged the
14:44deceased body outside his place and made a 999 call. During the call, Port claimed that he was
14:50driving by when he spotted a young boy who was having a seizure or was drunk.
14:54That's the ambulance. What's the address of the emergency?
14:58It was Cook Street. It was a young boy who got his caps outside.
15:04I don't know. Outside of which number?
15:07Uh, 47, 58.
15:10Sorry?
15:1147, 58, I think.
15:1347, Cook Street.
15:16Yeah.
15:17What area?
15:19Barking. It looks like you've collapsed or had a seizure or something.
15:24Before 8am that morning, Anthony was pronounced dead, and the police never thought the 999
15:30caller was linked to the incident. This gave Port the audacity to commit three other murders in the
15:35next one year. His second victim was a 22-year-old Gabriel Kavari, who stayed with Port briefly.
15:41Kavari's murder was followed by that of Daniel Whitworth, a 21-year-old who worked as a chef.
15:45To sell a story to the police, Port added a fake suicide letter to Whitworth's body was the chef
15:50confessed to Kavaris' death. Port's second victim, this was a way to cover his tracks and pin his second
15:55murder on the deceased. His last victim was Jack Taylor, a forklift truck driver who stayed with
16:00his parents. The grander killer dumped the victim's bodies at a graveyard. However, Taylor's murder
16:05ended Port's killing spree. The families of the victims had confronted the Met to look into those
16:10deaths, but they never bothered. It was not until two weeks after Taylor's death that they found a
16:14CCTV footage that tied Port to the murder. In the doorbell footage, Port could be seen entering
16:20Taylor's home in what appeared to be a scheduled meetup. Not long after, the doorbell camera captured
16:25him leaving the apartment. The two were also captured together, walking across the street.
16:29Some days after the discovery of the CCTV footage, Port was arrested and charged with four counts of
16:34murder, ten counts of administering a poison, seven charges of rape, and four of sexual assault,
16:39all of which he denied. On the 25th of November 2016, Stephen Port was convicted of the murders,
16:45rape, and assaults of his four victims. He was then sentenced to life behind bars.
16:505. Willie Suarez Macio Willie Suarez Macio was a Cuba-born
16:54suspected serial killer who operated like the Mannequin Killer, the first serial killer on our
16:59list. The Mannequin Killer was the U.S. serial killer who targeted homeless people in Las Vegas
17:03and was captured after falling into a trap. As the Mannequin Killer did, Suarez also targeted
17:08homeless people in Miami and has been linked to the murder of two homeless men in Miami.
17:13According to the authorities, the real estate agent targets vulnerable homeless men sleeping on the
17:18street. Suarez would roll through the city in his black Dodge Charger, attacking nearby victims.
17:23Surprisingly, Willie Suarez Macio doesn't have an impressive crime resume like the other killers on
17:28this list. In fact, his transition from a successful real estate mogul to a serial killer is still a
17:33mystery to date. Suarez had no criminal history in the state of Florida and appeared as a well-dressed
17:37professional real estate agent on his online profile. He looks too clean to be involved in serial
17:42killing, but serial killers don't put it on their faces. Things took a new turn for Suarez when the
17:47Miami Police Department made a press conference where they accused the realtor of murdering two
17:51homeless men and attempting to murder another homeless man, all of which happened in Miami.
17:56According to the authorities, they have on-camera surveillance footage that showed Suarez
18:00Macio ending the lives of the homeless men. Suarez was initially charged with attempted
18:04murder during his arrest in 2021. However, the charges were eventually updated to two counts of
18:10first-degree murder. The real estate agent is now being charged with two first-degree murders,
18:14one attempted murder, and one attempted premeditated murder by the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office.
18:20Suarez's first victim was a 59-year-old homeless man named Manuel Perez. Perez had been passing the
18:25night on the sidewalk when he got stabbed to death on October 16, 2021. Two witnesses who happened to be
18:32near the crime scene recounted that they could hear the poor old man crying for help. A witness claimed
18:37that he saw a man moving his hand up and down as if he was striking Perez. The witness also
18:42described
18:42the suspect as a slim, black, clean-shaven male wearing a black t-shirt. A CCTV camera near the
18:49scene captured a clear image of a male subject who matched the description the witness gave.
18:54Another CCTV camera from a local business shows Suarez Macio walking through the area where the
18:59murder took place. After running away from the crime scene, the suspect could be seen entering a black
19:04dodger. However, at the time, the police were unable to identify the man even after a clear
19:09picture of the suspect. Suarez struck again on December 21, 2021, but this time he wasn't going
19:16scot-free. He shot a homeless man who bled in the head. However, the man was lucky to survive the
19:21gunshot.
19:22About two hours after the failed murder attempt, another homeless man, Jerome Price,
19:26was shot five times while sleeping on the ground. A surveillance camera nearby captured a black
19:31dode charger driving by with gun flashes coming from the car. The Dodge Charger was also spotted
19:36circling around the area before Price was shot. The police were able to get the first three digits
19:41of the black dodger's license plate and with the help of other cameras in the area, they managed to
19:46put together the complete number plate. By this time, it was only a matter of hours before they
19:50figure out who was behind the shooting or at least have a clue they can work with. After running the
19:55number plate, it came back to Maceo Perez, a licensed real estate agent. The number plate was all they
20:00needed to solve the mysterious murder of Manuel Perez since the suspect left in that same car.
20:05On the 22nd of December 2022, Suarez Maceo was arrested just outside his place of work. During
20:11the arrest, the police seized a loaded black Glock 99 mm handgun from Suarez Maceo's waistband.
20:17Ballistic results which came back on the 9 mm Glock seized from Suarez Maceo confirmed that the weapon
20:22was linked to the shell casings found at both crime scenes. Suarez Maceo is pleading his case with the
20:28court and was denied bond by a circuit court judge in December 2021.
20:32Six, Joanna Dennehy. Another serial killer whose dumb mistake gave the prosecution more evidence
20:38to lock them behind bars is Joanna Dennehy, the woman behind the Peterborough ditch murders. While
20:43the CCTV didn't catch her in the act, it was used during the trials. The video was shown to the
20:48jurors
20:48during the trials of Dennehy's accomplices at the Cambridge Crown Court trial. Joanna Dennehy is a
20:54Cambridgeshire woman who plotted and executed the Peterborough ditch murders, the serial killing
20:58of three men which took place in Cambridgeshire, England back in 2013. All three victims were found
21:04with stab wounds. Dennehy revealed to Stretch, one of her accomplices, that she stabbed men for the
21:10purpose of entertainment. She somehow finds killing men fun and in just 10 days the mother of two was
21:15able to nail three victims. Dennehy somehow developed a hatred for men and targeted men throughout
21:21her 10-day killing spree. She even claimed that she doesn't want to kill a woman, especially one
21:25with children. According to some reports, she planned to kill a total of nine men following the
21:30footsteps of notorious killers Bonnie and Clyde. The serial killer was described by her mother as
21:35a sensitive girl who would cry if she mistakenly killed a worm while growing up. But during her mid-teens,
21:41she began to change. Dennehy began to skip school, take drugs, and even at one point date a man who
21:47was
21:47five years her senior. This was her turning point, and at age 16, she ran away from home with her
21:52boyfriend. Joanna Dennehy's first victim was a 31-year-old Polish citizen called Lukasz Slabaszewski.
21:58Dennehy got to know Lukasz as a result of their mutual interest in drinking and drugs. The two met
22:02in Peterborough, where they had a drink together before Dennehy lured the unsuspecting man to one
22:07of her landlord's houses. Lukasz reportedly told his friends that he was meeting up with a woman who would
22:11become his new girlfriend. Dennehy blindfolded Lukasz before stabbing the 31-year-old in the heart.
22:17Afterward, Dennehy stored his dead body in a dumpster until she took her next victim.
22:22Ten days after her first murder, Dennehy got her second victim. This time, she didn't go far in
22:27search of a victim but went for someone around her. Dennehy murdered 56-year-old John Chapman,
22:32one of her housemates. On the 29th of March, 2013, Dennehy murdered John Chapman, in the same manner
22:38she murdered Lukasz. Just a few hours after Chapman's murder, Dennehy murdered her landlord,
22:43Kelvin Lee. The 48-year-old was in a relationship with Dennehy at the time. Before killing Lee,
22:48she convinced him to wear a black sequin dress, which she'd later used to humiliate him further.
22:52To get rid of the bodies in her possession, Dennehy knew she needed more hands. This was where Gary,
22:57Stretch, Richard, and Leslie Layton came into the plot. The pair helped move and dump the victim's
23:03bodies in ditches. They also placed Lee, who was dressed in a black sequin dress.
23:07In a sexually explicit position to make a mockery of him. Dennehy then fled to Hereford
23:12in search of more victims. On the 30th of March, 2013, Kelvin Lee's remains were discovered in a
23:18ditch in Newborough. However, it took the police three more days to discover the bodies of Chapman
23:23and Lukasz. While in Hereford, Dennehy was spotted on a CCTV camera, flirting with a female shop worker.
23:29The serial killer, who claimed to be a lesbian, could be seen smiling and having a conversation with
23:34the shop attendant. She even told the 31-year-old cashier to turn around so she could see her
23:39backside. Not long after she left the store, Dennehy and her accomplices came across two men,
23:44John Rogers and Robin Bereza, who were walking their dogs. She stabbed Bereza in the shoulder
23:49and chest, then moved on to Roger, whom she stabbed 40 times. However, the two were able to
23:54get swift medical attention, and they survived. They identified Dennehy during the trial, and the CCTV
23:59also puts her in Hereford during the time of the attempted murder. Dennehy was later arrested
24:04and charged with three counts of murder and two attempted murders. Dennehy reportedly flirted with
24:09her arresting officer. She also made a silly mistake by stealing Roger's dog, which was found in her
24:14possession during her arrest. In November 2013, she pleaded guilty to all the charges and was given a
24:20whole life sentence, a kind of sentence reserved for the country's worst offenders, making her the third
24:25woman to be given such a sentence in UK history. Stretch was sentenced alongside Dennehy to life
24:31imprisonment, but with the possibility of parole after 19 years. Dennehy has found love in prison,
24:36and even requested permission to marry her cellmate, Hayley Palmer. Dennehy will now spend the rest of
24:41her days at the Low Newton Prison in County Durham. If you enjoyed this video on some dumb serial killers
