00:00The whole situation is controlled and led by President Trump, and I trust him fully on this,
00:08and I believe that it is an American-led situation, meaning the Americans have to deal with it,
00:16with their allies as well, because closing Hormuz, let's understand it,
00:21closing Hormuz is clearly another extortionate step in the relations of Iran with the world.
00:29If you think about it objectively, now let's go to bird's eye view, and you remember the map of the
00:35Middle East,
00:35it cannot be that the world would accept a situation whereby maritime routes, which are owned by the world,
00:45which are internationally open, which are part of international rules and part of international maritime law,
00:53it cannot be that they will be closed by one nation through its proxies or by itself,
00:58simply because they want to blackmail the rest of the world.
01:02It cannot go this way.
01:03It's impossible, because once you do it, then the whole world is a mess.
01:08And I think here the American position is very clear, and I think President Trump is correct,
01:14in the fact that he's insisting that Hormuz be open.
01:17It's part of international trade.
01:19The U.S., though, is also asserting its own blockade on the strait, so why should they be allowed to
01:27do it?
01:27Because it's a counter-reaction to the Iranian blockade.
01:31And at the end of it all, it's quite clear that free maritime is something of an essential element in
01:41world affairs.
01:42You know, people who watch us now should realize that this blackmailing operation,
01:51which has been going on for almost three years, like closing off Bab el-Mandeb, okay, by the Houthis,
01:58or closing off Hormuz, etc., increased the cost of living of all these families around the world
02:06who are getting these products, who are being carried by ships all over the world
02:11because of insurance and freight costs and other costs.
02:15So it's obvious that the world is paying price simply for this Iranian rudeness
02:24and Iranian mode of behavior, which has always been a terrorist mode of behavior.
