05:54yeah maybe more sometimes there's 20 people on set and all of a sudden you're like yeah oh wow this

06:00a whole different experience so my first few scenes that came out i was horrified absolutely horrified

06:07i looked awkward because i was being awkward okay because i'm being contorted in ways that i had never

06:14moved in before and so to fix that i just started watching my own to see where i can improve

06:22and

06:23also studying the grades you know um i would watch and see okay this person said this thing and it

06:29was

06:29hot maybe listen yeah like maybe take a note down you know or i don't like how like how this

06:36angle made

06:37me look try to you know pose in the mirror see how it feels so when you're on set you

06:44can kind of

06:45channel that so i did a lot of that you mean business and connie you were talking about the

06:49greats that you looked up to before but today you are one of the greats that people look up to

06:54no for

06:55real because when i talk to like models they look up to you you know how does it feel when

07:01when was the

07:01turning point when you realize of damn i'm connie bearing yeah i mean i don't think i'm there yet

07:07you know i i i think like a lot of performers i have a lot of imposter syndrome yeah any

07:14time at

07:15like a convention or something when a performer comes up to me and they're like oh my god i'm such

07:20a big

07:20fan i'm like uh me i'm like you realize i'm not also akira right um yeah i mean i had

07:28a very surreal

07:29moment of like getting recognized in africa where i was like oh wow this is like way bigger than me

07:37you know um and i travel a lot i've been to 75 countries and um last year i went to

07:4528 countries

07:46um in the summer it was 16 countries i got recognized in every single country every single one

07:52how can you not come on good yeah you're the connie perignon but connie what's the best part of

07:58getting this famous you know what i mean for you what's what's the most memorable for you

08:01um i think being able to do some of the things i've done you know aside from yeah the comfortability

08:10of making more money and all of that but just being able to experience some just really cool things you

08:17know like going to a convention and having people wait in lines for you and things like that or you

08:23know

08:23being recognized in a foreign country or being even just being able to travel to all the places

08:29i do you know it was really only made possible because of what i've built here and a few years

08:35ago i fell in line for you but i quit i gave up because it was a long line at

08:39that street but uh

08:41this is a dream come true for me but connie was it a plan for you coming into the industry

08:46or is it

08:47accidental did the industry find you the the industry definitely found me how so one day

08:55slid into my dms and asked me if i wanted to shoot but you're doing social like content or

09:01yeah so i've been on the internet since 2011. okay 2012. yeah i was big on tumblr

09:08yeah yeah i was big on tumblr i had a following already on twitter um funny enough uh when i

09:17first

09:17started shooting the first time i met lena the plug okay she was like you're the closet girl

09:23and i was like does that mean so i used to go viral a lot on twitter and this picture

09:29of my closet went

09:31viral oh okay that's the closet queen right yeah so i lived in new york so having such a big

09:37closet was

09:37crazy but it was a second bedroom that had three giant rows of hanging it looked like a store

09:44um i had green hair at the time wow and so i'm meeting lena the plug for the first time

10:20japan is always amazing taiwan the country i'm from um i went to bosnia last year and really liked bosnia

10:28this one country people are always very confused why i mentioned this one moldova it is like the

10:35least touristed um european country it just has really cool um brutalist like old soviet architecture

10:42that i just found so cool okay and it's fascinating you know that you've been to a lot of countries

10:48different cultures so let me ask you this question that's why i got to that part is because we are

10:54in

10:54industry wherein it's here in the u.s it's it's great because we are accepted and but what's like

10:59was there at a point or in a country wherein you were judged because of what you do and what

11:04did you

11:04do to you know um i feel like i do a pretty good job of toning myself down when i

11:11go to other countries

11:12i do a lot of research so that's good i look up about the culture and all of that kind

11:17of stuff so i

11:18dress way differently okay oh okay so you adjust it also basically yeah because also i travel alone for the

11:23most part yeah so i don't really want to bring extra attention to myself which is crazy because

11:29even covered up and everything like people somehow still recognize me yeah i mean one thing that i

11:35found a little strange is i love going to religious places i don't follow any religion but it's i just

11:44find it very interesting and they're all very beautiful churches temples mosques all that and sometimes

11:50even just by being there that really obsessed people okay and people start saying you know kind

11:57of mean things about god hating me and all of that which is crazy to me because i'm like i'm

12:03being

12:03respectful yeah and i'm just existing as a person but you're not hurting other people yeah but uh connie

12:10i have done my research you're not just good at what you're doing professionally but you are also

12:16well educated and uh nyu come on connie what were you doing before the adult films um i worked in

12:24marketing for a multi-billion dollar beverage yeah okay let's see with that okay and what made you

12:32decide to join the industry you know i just thought it would be a funny story i thought it was

12:37going to be a

12:37one-off really at the time i was best friends with a with a very famous star and i think

12:44that's how

12:45jules found me and i didn't really want to shoot at all but i was like you know what this

12:50might be

12:50funny one day you know shoot one scene well like shoot one scene it was like oh grandma grandma one

12:56shot of you know um and that first video just went crazy and uh jules had already said hey next

13:05you're in la let's shoot some more and so that first video went crazy i'm an analytics nerd so i'm

13:11seeing the numbers yeah i'm like yeah okay i think there's something here yeah and uh my second and

13:16third scenes were with dread and manuel which pretty big pressure yeah um yeah i had done so much

13:24studying in between my first scene and my second and third and i remember when the second one came out

13:31i was in an uber in new york and i was like oh my god the scene came out and

13:35so me and my friend are

13:36huddled around this iphone and i'm watching this trailer and i i started tearing because i was like

13:41oh my god yeah i look like a star you know and yeah ever since then i just aim for

13:48a little bit better

13:49every time connie you're very well known for your boobs your everything but also your tats yes okay

13:54what's your favorite um like to know it's probably this one yeah so this is like a rendition of chinese

14:02opera like a chinese opera performer yeah traditionally these all the performers are men and so even though

14:10they look like women and they're they have all this makeup on they're traditionally all men and it shows

14:16a lot of like courage on your part because like there was an era where and you know uh tats
