In Ballari's Batti area, a groom named Nabi Rasool was murdered on the night of his wedding reception. He had married a divorced woman 15 days prior, and the wedding reception was held the previous day. Around 11:30 PM, Nabi left home after receiving a call from a friend and never returned. His body was found approximately 700-780 meters from his home in a decomposed state. The family was shocked by the incident. A reporter named Narsimurthy provided further details on the case. Suspicion has fallen on family members who reportedly opposed the marriage to a divorced woman, though community elders had given their approval. Police are investigating the motive behind the murder.
