The comprehensive redesign of the interior – from the steering wheel to the center console – pursues one clear goal: to further enhance the characteristic Maybach cocooning experience. Analog and digital elements merge in perfect harmony, creating an atmosphere of soothing tranquility. At the heart of this transformation is the upgraded center console with an optimized smartphone storage compartment including an integrated charging function. It is framed by a generously sculpted trim element, available in elegant finishes such as open-pore oak or open-pore amber brown wood with a herringbone pattern.
In the rear, the center console features two custom-designed holders to securely accommodate the silver-plated champagne flutes from Robbe & Berking, even while driving. Since 2002, these optional flutes have lent the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class a touch of festive elegance. Behind the rear armrest, a special cooling compartment ensures that the exquisite champagne is always perfectly chilled. With a capacity of ten liters, it offers ample space and can be removed if needed, should additional storage space for personal items be desired.
