09:56I mean, you're in the best year of your career, I think.
09:59In terms of resilience, confidence, what can you feel that has changed from the first one to this one now?
10:03Yeah, I think 2018, you know, we was a young, inexperienced team going into the Russia World Cup.
10:10We didn't have much expectation on us as a squad.
10:14We still have belief amongst ourselves that we could do something special.
10:17But, yeah, I think coming off the back of, you know, two major finals in the last three tournaments,
10:23semi-final, quarter-final in the World Cup, another quarter-final.
10:27I think a lot of these players have played in big games, in big moments.
10:31I think we're more prepared for this situation.
10:34But as we always know, you still have to go out there and perform at your highest level.
10:38We're at the stage of the tournament now where, yeah, any small difference,
10:43any percent that you're not with it can be the difference between going through and not.
10:47So, yeah, for me personally, I think just using all the other major tournaments I've played,
10:54the experience both international and club level in big quarter-finals, semi-final, finals,
11:00just using all that, one, to help the team around me,
11:04but also just to, yeah, to feel more relaxed going into tomorrow's game.

11:27Yeah, obviously extremely proud to reach the same caps as Weser,
11:35one of England's greatest ever players.
11:37Yeah, I think throughout any career you have to have little motivations,
11:41you have to have targets and goals.
11:44I'm probably one who likes to maybe do it in smaller situations.
11:49You know, I don't like to look too far ahead into the future.
11:52I like to take maybe a month at a time or six weeks at a time, see what I can
11:56do,
11:57see how many goals I can reach and kind of set myself small targets throughout the season.
12:00Obviously this season has gone very well on that front, but yeah, obviously important games to play still.
12:08So I think that's what keeps me kind of hungry. It keeps me pushing myself to the highest level.

12:35Yeah, it's an impossible one for me to answer. I think, first of all, I think we're completely different players.
12:41Almost, I know we're both senior strikers, but almost two different positions, if I'm totally honest.
12:47Yeah, Erling has been incredible. He's goal-scoring record. He's physically, he's a machine, he's a beast.
12:53He's finishing, he's at the highest level and obviously his goal-scoring record speaks for itself.
12:59Yeah, I see myself as a different player, although I score the same goals.
13:03I like to maybe touch the ball a little bit more, be involved in play a little bit more,
13:07but also can players maybe get out and out nine.
13:10But yeah, I don't think he's one to compare ourselves, I think.
13:15Yeah, I respect him a lot as a player, as a fellow professional.
13:19Obviously hoping he has a quiet day tomorrow, but yeah, I think his overall performances

13:32Harry, you've talked at past tournaments about working to make sure you peak in the knockout rounds.
13:38Do you feel you're in a position to do that this time?
13:41And can you just sort of explain a bit about the work you do to try and do that?
13:45Yeah, as I said before, obviously, I think everyone wants to start a tournament perfect.
13:50In an ideal situation, you win every game, you win comfortable, you play amazing football,
13:54but that's not always the case.
13:56And I think in history shows, you know, winners of major tournaments very rarely, you know,
14:02just have a smooth run all the way through, I think.
14:05Yeah, we tried to split the tournament up.
14:07I think the group stage especially is almost a completely separate tournament to the knockout stage.
14:11The main thing in that situation is being together, getting back to know each other,
14:16qualifying through the group.
14:17And then you kind of come into this knockout stage and obviously this year a little different with the extra
14:23game.
14:24In the last couple of games, you know, you're at a stage in a tournament where you're expected to win
14:29as the England national team.
14:30If you lose, it's a disaster. If you win, you're kind of expected.
14:33So you're in that kind of no-win situation.
14:35I think we're coming into a period now where, you know, quarter-final, we need to show the best version
14:41of ourselves.
14:42I still feel like there's levels that we can reach as a team that we haven't quite reached yet this
14:46tournament.
14:47And now's the time to express that.
14:51Yeah, of course, we hope that we've done all the work to now peak as a team.
14:54You go into this moment where, you know, the final, the quarter-final, semi-final, finals,
15:01all within kind of a week, eight days of each other.
15:04So it comes really quickly.

15:46I think, you know, we've had foreign coaches in the past.
15:50We've had English coaches.
15:52Ultimately, we're just trying to be successful as a team.
15:54We want to win major tournaments.
15:58And obviously knowing the boss from Bayern Munich, I knew he was going to give us a great chance of

16:03So I was just excited to work with him again.

16:37Well, I think giving the answer of your colleague before, that Brazil is already out
16:42and big nations like Portugal out already before the quarter-finals.

16:48Ivory Coast, like Croatia, so many top nations, top coaches, top players out.
16:54It gets harder and harder because competition gets better and better.

17:44So it's like Harry said, you're almost a bit torn because you play also against your own expectations,
17:51but you see big teams already out.
17:54So kind of part of you wants to be proud and wants to accept that being in the quarter-finals
17:59is a step.
18:01But of course part of you feels like it's not enough because you want more and more and more.

19:34Yeah, I think we've obviously got an expectation because of what we've done in recent years as a team,
19:41which is part and parcel of being a big nation.
19:47Since I've played my first tournament in 2016, obviously it was really disappointing.
19:51From that moment, the expectation was low and we slowly built it up.
19:55And now we're in a situation where we're going into this tournament as one of the favorites
19:59and that's a different pressure to deal with.
20:03Ultimately, until we win that trophy, there's always going to be that talk around England as a team.
20:10But we're in a good position.
20:13We're in a place that we wanted to be six weeks ago when we met up for prep camp.
20:19So that was important to stay in that moment.
20:22We took a lot of good steps in the right direction.
20:25Overcome a lot of difficult moments, difficult games.

28:44But I spoke after I think the Congo game, you know, I feel like in our team, especially, we have
28:49hero moments all over all over the pitch.
28:53I think that was seen in the Mexico game with the saves, with the blocks, with the headers.
28:58It isn't just about the guys who score the goals or create the goals.

29:04We touched on it a bit earlier.
29:05Norway have a great team other than Erling.
