00:00It is now my pleasure to introduce Canada's Prime Minister, the Right Honourable Mark
00:05Kearney, whose leadership, whose personal drive and commitment has brought all of us
00:12here today.
00:13Prime Minister.
00:20Thank you very much, Minister McGinty, dear David, thank you, Dave, thank you, Dave, thank
00:33you all, Heather, others, that's it, that's it for the Daves.
00:37You know, before I begin, I do want to acknowledge something that we're all feeling, sensing.
00:46Thousands of Canadians' lives have been upended, are being upended by the wildfires across this
00:54country, flooding in Manitoba again.
00:57And on behalf of all Canadians, everyone in this room, all Canadians across this country,
01:01I want to thank the courageous firefighters, the first responders, the indigenous and
01:07local leaders who are working tirelessly to keep our people safe.
