00:00Oh, good morning. A little chilly coming from Florida. Not used to it. I want everybody to take a look.
00:08I know everybody sees us today as grown adults, but we are fighting for the children that were abandoned and
00:13left behind in the reckoning.
00:17This is who you're fighting for. This is who Congress is fighting for.
00:22This is who the House of Representatives are fighting for, and hopefully the Senate will fight for us too.
00:28I want to kick this off right, and I want to address Marjorie Taylor Greene, Thomas Massey, and Ro Khanna.
00:34I want to express my gratitude for all three of you, and I know, Ro Khanna, we spoke earlier.
00:39This isn't an incredible thing that I'm watching as a Republican, and this is non-political,
00:44but for you to go against your own party and to be ostracized, there's no place for political violence.
00:51There's no place for intimidation, and I can say firsthand, stepping out against Epstein and his crimes against children,
00:57we have all experienced that ourselves. So for you to knowingly put yourselves at risk and put your career at
01:04risk is unbelievable to watch,
01:06and we are so grateful. I also want to make a proposition for Marjorie Taylor Greene, because you've been an
01:11advocate for this.
01:12If you decide to read those names on the House floor for immunity, I will be more than happy.
01:18No security needed. I will stand beside you. I will hold your hand. I will hold your coat in solidarity
01:23with you.
01:24And on top of that, I did talk to Jayapal, who said she would be more than happy to read
01:29those names, too, on the floor with all of us.
01:31It's time that we put the political agendas and party affiliations to the side.
01:38This is a human issue. This is about children.
01:40There is no place in society for exploitation, sexual crimes, or exploitation of women in society.
01:48There's no room for it, guys. We're not having it.
01:51And to the president of the United States of America, who is not here today, I want to send a
01:58clear message to you.
01:59While I do understand that your position has changed on the Epstein files, and I'm grateful that you have pledged
02:05to sign this bill,
02:06I can't help to be skeptical of what the agenda is.
02:10So, with that being said, I want to relay this message to you.
02:17I am traumatized. I am not stupid.
02:20I am traumatized. I am not stupid.
02:23You have put us through so much stress, the lockdowns, the halt of these procedures that were supposed to have
02:31happened 50 days ago.
02:33The Adelita, Grijalva, who waited to get sworn in, and then get upset when your own party goes against you
02:40because what is being done is wrong.
02:42It's not right.
02:44For your own self-serving purposes, this is America.
02:48This is land of the free.
02:50Land of the free.
02:51In 1863, we have a woman on top of the Capitol building represent freedom.
02:55I do not feel free today.
02:57I don't know if the women behind me feel free today.
03:01So, I am begging every member of Congress, every representative, to step up and choose the chaos.
03:09Choose the survivors.
03:11Choose the children.
03:13Protect the children.
03:16All children.
03:17You protect all of us equally.
03:20Thank you very much for your time.
03:23Following that, Lisa Phillips will be the next survivor.
03:36Good morning.
03:37My name is Lisa Phillips.
03:39It's an honor to stand here again for something America is finally united on.
03:45The immediate release of the entire Epstein files.
03:49In a divided nation, this is one demand we all share.
03:54Last time I stood here, I made a promise to all survivors watching.
03:58If those in power refused to release the truth, we would start uncovering it ourselves.
04:05For anyone who doubted that, that moment has already arrived.
04:10Since that day, more survivors across the country and around the world have reached out.
04:15Texts, emails, DMs, first-hand accounts, and evidence.
04:22Many are women who were abused or trafficked through the international modeling pipeline Epstein built.
04:28Promising visas, apartments, opportunities, futures, while exploiting their dreams for abuse.
04:36Most are still terrified to speak publicly because the men involved are powerful.
04:41They're connected, and as we know, they're protected.
04:46For too long, survivors have watched others speak for us.
04:50And while we are grateful for our allies in Congress on both sides, we've realized something.
04:57This fight belongs to us.
04:59We lived it, and we know the truth.
05:02And we will not wait quietly for institutions to decide when we're allowed to speak.
05:07The survivors now coming forward have entrusted us with their stories.
05:11We are sharing that information with the proper authorities, and when it can safely be made public, it will be.
05:18So today, we are launching something historic.
05:23The first national, survivor-led political movement in America.
05:29Nonpartisan, laser-focused, on exposing the systems, the loopholes, power structures, and silencing mechanisms that have protected predators for far
05:41too long.
05:43We are stepping directly into the halls of power, into the political arena.
05:51We will help rewrite laws that failed us and build protections for our nation's children together, targeted by sexual exploitation.
06:02Together, today, survivors begin our own fight, the survivor revolution.
06:11And we intend to change this nation for the better.
06:16If you're a survivor who wants to join us, please reach out.
06:22And to anyone who benefits from the current system, intentionally or not, remember this.
06:29Alone, yes, we are afraid.
06:32But together, we are feared.
