"In a small village in the English countryside, there was a house that no one dared enter. It was said to hold a dark secret... an object of ancient and cursed power: the 'Hand of Glory.' Something connected to an ancient legend: the 'Hand of Glory.' A severed hand from an executed criminal, transformed into a talisman of dark power. Whoever wore it could control the sleep of others... but at a terrible price." "Four friends decided to explore the house, defying the local horror stories. They laughed at the legends, until they found a dusty box in the basement. Inside it, a dry, wrinkled hand, with a candle clasped between its fingers."
Jake says: "Wow, that's disgusting! Who would keep such a thing?" "It was the 'Hand of Glory.'
Legend said that when lit, it would cause everyone around it to fall into a deep sleep. But there was a warning: never use it without knowing how to put it out."
"Curious, one of them lit the candle. Within seconds, the other three fell to the floor, motionless. He was alone... or almost. The hand seemed to be watching him, as if it had a life of its own." "But they wouldn't wake up. And, even worse, the hand seemed to be watching Tom, as if it knew what he was thinking." "He tried blowing it out, covering it, even pouring water on the candle. Nothing worked. The flame wouldn't go out. And then he heard... footsteps. Someone - or something - was coming toward him." "Tom knew he wasn't alone. Someone - or something - was in the house with him. And the hand... the hand seemed to be guiding him, as if it wanted to show him something." "He ran through the dark hallways, but the doors closed by themselves. The shadows moved, crawling across the walls. The hand was still in his hand, and the candle... the candle burned brighter." "In a dusty room, he found an old book. The pages said the only way to put out the candle was with milk. But where could you find milk in an abandoned house? "He found a moldy jar of milk in a pantry. When he poured it over the candle, it finally went out. The friends woke up, but something was wrong... the hand was gone." "They left the house, relieved. But in the backseat of the car, the hand was there... waiting. The legend of the 'Hand of Glory' never ended. It just found a new owner." "And so the legend continues... waiting for its next victim."
