01:33The defendant is a pit bull owner who walked into court and apparently didn't even know
01:38who the plaintiff was.
01:40She thought this was another case involving her dog biting a stranger.
01:43She fully admits she didn't actually remember this case.
01:47There were cops all over the place.

04:08This case was all over the place.
04:11Ostensibly a case about a horse, this one is so full of twists, turns, and non-sequiturs
04:16that it's legitimately hard to keep up.

04:33Apparently, the plaintiffs, who are exes, had an altercation in the waiting room of Judge
04:37Millian's courtroom before they entered.
04:40When she brings it up, the plaintiffs have smiles on their faces.

05:06A Lesson in the Law
05:07Defendant Neil Prasad made it seem like he was helping a fellow veteran.
05:12Instead, the plaintiff and the judge feel he sold the plaintiff a defective engine.
05:17When pressed, Prasad's attitude doesn't endear him to the judge.

06:23And his young daughter seems to be of that same opinion.

09:44Victims of domestic strife already have a hard time being heard by the justice system.
09:48The plaintiff in this case alleges her ex physically attacked her during an argument.
09:53However, the video footage that she brought doesn't show that at all.
09:57It certainly doesn't match the statement she gave the police that got the defendant arrested.

10:03The prosecutor in the case saw the video.
10:06And the prosecutor in the case, in the interest of justice, said, I can't prosecute this guy.
10:12There's no evidence.
10:13What's more, even after that, she was still using the defendant's place for free storage
10:18and didn't move her belongings.
10:20Somehow this is all his fault and she's suing him.
10:23Needless to say, the judge finds her behavior pretty indefensible and rules against her.
10:28You owe him $5,000.
10:31On your lawsuit against him, zero.
10:34And on his lawsuit against you, $5,000.

10:39It must be the sexuality thing.
10:41Plaintiff Anne Marie Mahoney got into an ill-conceived relationship with her tenant.
10:46Her lawsuit and lack of empathy don't endear her to the judge.
10:50Their entire case in housing court was about you not letting them come in on several dates
10:56in July.
10:56And you're fighting it saying, you know, well, they're crazy and I don't want, I don't
11:00want, you know, there's all kinds of crazy stuff happening in my house and I don't want
11:04them there.
11:04It's not, I let them in.
11:05I don't know what you're talking about.
11:06Still, the judge tries to award her money.
11:09Not enough, as it turns out.
11:11The judge, who's tired of hearing Mahoney talk smack and lie in her courtroom, tells the
11:15plaintiff to zip it.
11:27Mahoney's attempt to paint her as homophobic goes about as well as you'd expect.
11:31Judge Million throws Mahoney out of the court, but not before lambasting her ridiculous charge
11:36for the audience and the viewers.
11:38I resent that, not only because I have family members who would be very offended by what
11:44you just said.
11:45Get out of here and stop playing victim.

11:56Number 10, a vicious illegal slumlord.
11:59At first, Judge Million thinks this plaintiff is wrong for suing for rent he already paid.
12:04He doesn't technically disagree.
12:06As his priority is the security deposit.
12:09I told the defendant that I would be moving out on September 1st.
12:12So you stayed there July, August?
12:15September.
12:15Regardless, the defendant starts digging herself into a hole.
12:19And once the judge sees the conditions of the illegal basement apartment, she really
12:24changes her tune.
12:25Turning her attention to the neglectful defendant, she doesn't mince words.
12:30Because you look like a slumlord right now.
12:33Like a vicious, illegal slumlord.
12:37The landlord's odd calmness as she tries to explain why she's not responsible doesn't
12:42earn her any points either.
12:44Million tries to appeal to her compassion, if it exists, and forces her to confront the
12:49fact that charging someone rent to live in uninhabitable conditions is morally bankrupt.

13:00Number 9.
13:01The Wrong Cake
13:02Marva Utley's daughter was so distraught that the bakery gave them the wrong flavor of cake
13:07for her birthday that she stormed out of her party.
13:10So there's 35 people there in her honor and she storms out in a huff because it's red velvet
13:16and not rum?
13:17The day was apparently ruined, and Utley wants the baker to pay for the cost of the cake,
13:22and the entire shindig.
13:23Judge Million can't help but make light of the situation because it's too ridiculous to
13:27take seriously.
13:29Because apparently it's a big deal, a ruined, the 22-year-old party that put where she stormed
13:33out of her own party, she couldn't take the pressure!
13:36However, the judge is offended that Utley would sue for a whopping $1,500, especially
13:42since her kid is literally a grown woman.
13:45Million instead takes aim at the absent daughter, calling out how spoiled and ungrateful she sounds.
13:51I had to pay the DJ.
13:52Of course you did, you had a party.
13:54I have to pay the store.
13:54For apparently an incredibly ungrateful 22-year-old.
13:57Everyone else who is in touch with reality would agree.

14:01I'm a Man of God
14:02If there's one thing Judge Million can't stand, it's a litigant hiding behind religion
14:08when they've done wrong.
14:09Your Honor, I'm a man of God, and I do not.
14:12Are you a man of God?
14:13Defendant Joseph Brusca is accused of selling a teenager a useless phone.
14:18It doesn't take the judge long to decide exactly how guilty he is.
14:22Mr. Brusca, how often do you rip off 15-year-old children?
14:28But Brusca's contention that he's a man of God really, really gets under her skin.
14:34She's not letting him off that easily.
14:36I think that you're smack-talking about God because you realize what a jerk you look like right now.
14:46In fact, she can't help but let him squirm a little,
14:49because she's not quite sure any God would be all that thrilled at him dragging his faith into this.
14:55Number 7.
14:56Warranty Discrepancy
14:57They have no warranty under this gentleman's name.
15:00They have no warranty under this VIN number.
15:04They have no warranty under this date for this car.
15:09Like a skilled assassin, Judge Million lies in wait,
15:12setting car dealership manager Reynoso up for a massive smackdown.
15:17She lets him explain why the plaintiff's warranty didn't kick in,
15:21then drops the bomb that she had already called the company,
15:24and found out there never was one.
15:26And you know what the funny thing is?
15:29They don't have a contract for him.
15:31So not only did he lie in court,
15:33but he also took his customers' money for a warranty that was never purchased.
15:38This clears the way for her to eviscerate him and his nonsensical excuses.
15:42So who at your dealership thinks that I am an idiot?
15:50Give this camera person an Emmy,
15:51because the way they slowly push in on Reynoso as the judge rakes him over the coals is truly spectacular.
15:57Number 6.
15:59Where did you get this hubris?
16:01Anthony Geno Martinson sues the parents of a teen for attempting to get a restraining order against him.
16:07Although, as the case goes on, it becomes clear they had good reason.
16:11What business do you have having a minor go with you instead of her parents who's 16?
16:17Like, what business is this of yours? You're a grown man.
16:19Martinson transported their daughter out of town without their consent.
16:23There's something more than meets the eye here, and the judge clearly senses it.
16:27The plaintiff's inappropriate relationship with the daughter has gotten so bad that the judge becomes furious.

16:38Where did you get this hubris?
16:40She blows up at him, saying he must be out of his mind to think what he's doing is okay.
16:45Ultimately, she makes it clear that he needs to stay away.
16:49Are you out of your mind? You need to stay away from her, okay?

16:54A place reserved in hell
16:56Few disputes between exes are as reprehensible as this.
17:00This is the ring that he told you he was buying for his mama?
17:09Yes, ma'am.
17:10Judge Millian has plenty to say to the gullible plaintiff,
17:13who bought a ring for her ex-boyfriend to give to his mother.
17:17But it was actually an engagement ring he wanted for his other girlfriend.
17:21Defendant Raymond Green Sutherland can't tell a consistent story to save his life,
17:26and can't own up to his disgusting behavior.
17:29Thought it was only my friend.
17:31But if it's only your friend, why did you get engaged to her to get married?
17:38Judge Millian has a lot of fun laying out his misdeeds, having him walk her through every single terrible decision,
17:45and forcing him to explain them.
17:47By the end, she sums him up with some choice and honest words.
17:50You're a complete user of a nice young lady, and there's a place reserved in hell for you.

18:00So much church, so little religion.
18:03Plaintiff Quincy and his cousin, defendant Imani, have the good sense not to use their last names on TV.
18:09The fight escalated into an all-out assault between them and their acquaintances, which led to car damage.
18:16So me, I'm just like enraged, I'm going crazy, like why did you bring these people to my house?
18:20I got so much church, so little religion.
18:22What really floors Judge Millian though, is that the pair are supposedly devoted churchgoers.
18:28Quincy is even looking to become a minister.
18:39That didn't stop him from egging on his friends to fight his cousin though.
18:43The hypocrisy of the whole thing leaves a bad taste in our mouth,
18:47and Judge Millian's assessment is a necessary palate cleanser.
18:50Her damning statement, which basically says they need to practice more of what they preach,
18:55provides a much needed reality check.
19:06Not that either one is able to hear it.

19:10Unfit to serve
19:11Here's yet another dispute between cousins.
19:14Two of them end up in court over the ownership of a small dog.
19:18Defendant Christopher Colgan probably didn't expect his snide,
19:22repugnant, and cruel messages to the plaintiff to be read aloud on TV.
19:26But she didn't just do it to embarrass him.
19:28And then at some point you write, ha ha ha ha ha ha, you can try Sarah but you won't
19:32win.
19:33You make maybe what, 30,000 combined with your boyfriend?
19:37We learn he's a marine who's trying to become a cop.
19:41Judge Millian can't believe it.
19:43It's so entertaining to watch her verbally destroy him in front of countless people.
19:47What kind of marine are you?
19:48Because that's really one of the nastiest, most immature things I've ever seen in my life.
19:54But her biggest and most valid complaint is that this is not the kind of man who should
19:59be able to hide behind a police badge.
20:01Watching him eat his words is satisfying, even if he's legally in the right in the case.
20:06And I do regret saying those things.

20:18Sometimes compassion and grace is what separates Judge Millian from other TV judges.
20:23In this case, though, she reserves all her understanding for the plaintiff, who became
20:27the target of a defamatory and disgusting campaign of internet harassment.
20:32Even my mom in the family business was getting emails saying,
20:37here's a website exposing him for what he really is.
20:41The defendant insists he's not at fault.
20:44He's acting like he holds no responsibility and didn't do anything wrong because he was
20:49just doing what his client, a lawyer, wanted.
20:51Except the judge doesn't buy that.

20:58To Photoshop the pictures to make it look like he's doing something sexual to young men.
21:04She tells him point blank that he knowingly spread lies for money, and that makes him
21:08completely undeserving of her respect.
21:11It's a devastating, even-keeled takedown.

21:19Because you're taking pictures and making them look like something
21:22that you know they're not, because you have the real pictures.
21:24The camera slowly pushing in on the defendant to capture his shame is just the cherry on top.

21:33A massive six-day manhunt for a teen girl led police to defendants Melinda and Christopher McManus' door.
21:40How is it that you could allow something like this to go on for six days?
21:46A manhunt looking for a missing 14-year-old girl?
21:51Melinda had been aiding her son in hiding his girlfriend from her parents.
21:55Although Christopher says he had no idea, he sure doesn't act like he's sorry it happened.
22:00He even gets thrown out near the end.
22:02I keep talking and nothing's going in your thick head.
22:05Because you're so busy trying to be right that you don't understand the position.

22:12Judge Millian spends the case in a state of disbelief,
22:15that a parent could think that was a good idea and that her husband could be so callous it enrages
22:20her. Throughout, she puts them through the ringer for the pain they've caused,
22:24the tax dollars wasted in the search, and their negligence and complete lack of accountability.
