00:00if somebody comes up and says are you an actor and then I because they usually
00:05say it with quite ungracefully I just say no and they say well you look like
00:11that bloke whose name they can't remember I say well yeah I've been told
00:15that I look like someone but it's actually not me Bill lovely to see you
00:18and I know that you have been on the other side being the assassin back in
00:23Wild Target all those years ago so you've been on the other side of that do
00:27you miss doing the the action side of things because this one's very much a
00:32gentler role for you and well I think really Wild Target which nobody talks to
00:37me about and I'm very pleased that you do is was probably the extent of my action
00:41career and I remember the gun wrangler just saying Bill don't wobble the gun
00:46because I wasn't terribly good at it but I am keen on having some kind of action
00:50even now I'm keen on having some kind of action action but I was very pleased to
00:54be in this one because it's like I like I love the scripts and it's kind of my
00:58thing you know I just I love the combination of comedy and flash bang
01:02wallop yeah it does feel like it suits you this director yeah very very well
01:07thank you but how did you feel about being de-aged did they do that prosthetic or
01:12did they do that like in post I can't remember the de-aged oh yes I have never
01:17seen the de-aged bit I've forgotten about the de-aged bit I should probably have a
01:22look maybe I won't I never look at anything I'm in I never watch no I don't
01:27because I can't take it and that's always been the case I mean all my life
01:32all my career I've never looked at myself unless I absolutely had to for some
01:36reason I you know but so I haven't seen the de-aging I'd forgotten completely
01:40forgotten about do you think you will have a look just I'd be quite curious but I
01:44probably will I'm very good at not looking I get that though I back in the
01:49day I didn't like the sound of my voice I didn't like and now because I have to
01:52edit myself oh no that's awful it's horrible horrible obviously Hannah's
01:57character is the assassin and this top secret and you know she has to kind of
02:03lie to her best friend about what she does you know you're an actor who is so
02:08well-known you probably get recognized all over the place if people come up to
02:13you do you ever lie about who you are I the only time I ever lie is if somebody
02:20comes up and says are you an actor and then I because they usually say it with
02:25quite ungracefully I just say no and they say well you look like that bloke
02:31whose name they can't remember I say well yeah I've been told that I look like
02:35someone but it's actually not me oh my god so I have said that a few times but
02:38mostly people do kind of know you know so but I don't and I don't mind I mean
02:43it's just part of my life now yeah obviously again for Judith Hannah's
02:47character she just feel like her job is her whole is her whole life like that's
02:52what she's always done for so many you know 29 years whatever it is some people
02:57do let their jobs kind of define them have you let being an actor do you think
03:01that does define you or do you see yourself in a different way it's a very
03:05good question and I'm not really sure of the answer I think about it I do think
03:09about what try and separate myself from my job and from my kind of place in the
03:15world I have been accused of workaholism and I usually protest loudly which
03:22probably means they're right but I just go to work like everybody else goes to work
03:27and I but I I I think it's impossible not to foot to some degree to be defined by
03:35what you do and I think probably I am because it's such it has such an impact
03:40on how how my day you know like being like you know being in the street and you
03:46know I walk everywhere because I don't own a car you know and lots of people I
03:49meet a lot of people you know and people and also because everyone else it's not so
03:53much that I'm I define myself by my job but other people do because it's such a
03:59conspicuous job most people go to work and nobody knows anything about it I go
04:03to work and everybody you know lots of people so I guess I am treated and when
04:09people do meet me you know they they think they kind of know you they don't
04:14in fact obviously know you but that's because parts you played so it's it is an
04:19odd relationship with the world yeah everyone has like this parasocial
04:23relationships what they call it now isn't it what do they call it a parasocial
04:26relationship where you feel like you know well there you are you see now I
04:29forget that because I'm not on social I've never heard that before I'm not on
04:32social media but I parasocial yeah that's a very good way of putting it
04:36because everybody it's like everybody has their own PR company now young people
04:41have to get up every morning and run the PR part of their life it's kind of no
04:44wonder people get depressed and you know and I think if they do ban social media
04:50for the others for the under-sixteens I think it's a brilliant idea I kind of
04:53wish they'd ban it for all of us I don't enjoy it either nobody really enjoys it
04:57everyone's nostalgic for the time when you know yeah I was lucky to be born
05:03before you know all that me too I remember life before social media which is
05:09what I say I I miss it I miss it lovely to see you I hope we get to see
05:14you in
05:14some action because did you say you're still up oh yeah no it's coming ah
05:18I cannot wait lovely to see you nice to see you thank you bye bye
