00:10considering it's been largely abandoned this past few years and well this is the first video i've
00:16posted on here in a good long while and the whole point of this video is to basically to put

00:23bluntly to say goodbye to a degree that is so the formal announcement i guess if you want to call

00:32is that 2026 will be the final year that this daily motion account will be for lack of a better
00:38term
00:40active before it gets shut down or abandoned or whatever the case may be this was a decision that
00:47was long coming as some of you might know i opened this daily motion page about a few months after
00:52i started doing videos on the other site in 2009 mostly as an alternative hosting site for the
00:59videos on the blog but also for material that wouldn't fly on the other's page certain edits
01:05certain pieces of content trigger algorithm that sort of thing and it was a fun ride until daily
01:11motion decided some of the stuff i was putting on here wasn't allowed to be posted on here even
01:16though the other place of all people had no problems with said videos and they were the same fucking edits
01:22and then there were the constant ads and the video embeds that would autoplay on the blog which became
01:27a massive headache if you were looking at videos and all of a sudden two dozen videos would start up
01:33all at once because anyways i don't know it's some blog so i stopped uploading around 2022
01:40when the uh daily motion decided to throw a fit and then i migrated the blog from blogger to wordpress
01:46and the dm video embed issue came up and you know what i'd fuck it move everything back to the
01:51other
01:51place edit some of that ships to be more sid friendly and i imagine the whole project will be
01:57long term but what is bound to happen is that by the end of the year save for this one
02:03video
02:04maybe not even that long this daily motion page will be empty because i'm in the process of taking
02:09stuff down as they're being moved to the other place and then by the end of it all probably this
02:16video will be up and then not long after sometime in 2027 i'm just going to shut the page down
02:21and
02:23that's the end and it's a shame because i thought daily motion for a while was a good alternative
02:29but uh then it stopped being that so and that's where we're at so not that it really means enemy
02:39again i don't know how many people still watch on daily motion i can't imagine not a lot of people
02:45but in closing i'd like to thank the minor audience that did decide to take a chance to watch stuff

02:52here i would like to thank the daily motion site for hosting these videos for all these years it's
02:58been a fun ride but as they say all good things must come to an end and i'm still at
03:04the other place

03:19where all the daily motion exclusive stuff formerly daily motion exclusive stuff will end up being so
03:25that the embeds could work on the blog proper of course that being dtm666.com lots of fun stuff on
03:33there especially if you like reading so uh yeah that's uh that's where we're at and that's where we're
03:44gonna go and that's where it's gonna end at the end of the year so for the final time that's
