CTP (S4ENovSpecial2) Faith Is A Verb with Caleb Collier
We talk with Caleb Collier from the Church and State podcast about why faith has to show up as action, not just private belief, and why Americans keep getting pulled into political idolatry. We challenge left-right tribalism, argue for principles over personalities, and end by asking what you’re doing right now to push back against corruption and apathy.
• Caleb’s background from early life in a communist Christian cult to the Marine Corps to city council work
• Why “church and state” is meant to restrain government power over the church
• Prayer as essential while works remain required for real cultural and political change
• “No kings but King Jesus” as a warning against worshipping leaders or the state
• Critiques of Trump worship alongside critiques of the left, with consistency as the standard
• Government spending, deficits, and why “savings” claims often mislead without real law changes
• Digital currency, eliminating cash, and end-times concerns handled with watchfulness not panic
• Transhumanism and brain chips as a medical tool that can become coercion
• Surveillance, AI data centers, and building unlikely coalitions to stop local overreach

00:00Hello, welcome to another episode of Perstitutionalist Podcast.
00:06I am your host, Joseph M. Leonard.
00:09That's L-E-N-A-R-D.
00:12It looks French.
00:13It's not.
00:14It's Leonard without an O.
00:17Thank you for tuning in, as Graham Norton used to say, on his show.
00:24Let's get on with the show!
00:26So, joining me today is Kaleev Collier of the Church and State Podcast.
00:35I was on his show in May of 2026.
00:40Of course, I ask that you all go check that out.
00:44We may cover a little of the same ground, but I'm going to try to avoid that.
00:49So, listen to May 2026, Joseph M. Leonard on Church and State Podcast with Kaleev Collier.
00:59Yeah, that's not Border Collie.
01:01That's Kaleev Collier.
01:04C-O-L-L-I-E-R.
01:07And I, of course, don't make that joke to demean him.
01:13So, my, you know, name association and jokes help people remember things, right?
01:20Welcome to the show, Kaleev.
01:22How are you?
01:23I got to tell you, you got the last name right, but the first name you're butchering, it's Caleb.
01:28Oh, no!
01:29It's Caleb!
01:30Oh!
01:31Of course it is!
01:34The one I normally get right, I screwed it up.
01:40Well, my apology.
01:42Don't worry, Joseph.
01:44I'm notorious on my show for butchering names, too.
01:47But now, yeah, it should be super memorable to the audience, since it has become kind of a joke.
01:53Yeah, I'm always sensitive with names, too, normally, because my last name looks French.
02:00It's not Lenard, it's Leonard, like, from Big Bang Theory, Leonard without an O, or Leonard Nimoy without the O.
02:10So, I try to be very sensitive to that thing, and yet, I've screwed it up.
02:17And here, I went and did the whole border collie joke and still screwed up your name.
02:24No worries at all.
02:27So, the obvious first, well, the proverbial Christian show, so, pun intended, Proverbs, proverbial first question.
02:39Where were you born and raised?
02:41You know, where are you now?
02:43Significant places you've been in between.
02:46Let's get that standard question out of the way.
02:51Sure, yeah, it's kind of a longer one.
02:53I've kind of led an interesting life.
02:55I was actually born in San Francisco, California, in a cult, a communist Christian cult.
03:02My parents, they shared a common house and had a common purse, and the money was distributed to each according
03:09to their needs, which is just absolutely awful.
03:13Thankfully, my parents left when I was two years old.
03:15I don't have any memory of that.
03:16My dad was very nomadic.
03:17We moved around a lot of different places in Central and Northern California.
03:22And then, ultimately, they moved to Washington State, where I reside now, in eastern Washington.
03:28So, still behind enemy lines.
03:31But I was in the Marine Corps, served for four years, 98 through 02.
03:36And thank you for your service.
03:38Absolutely.
03:39Yes, thank you.
03:40And I've been a city council member, so I'm a former politician.
03:44I like to tell people, don't hold that against me.
03:46I'm self-loathing.
03:47But I worked for a number of different political organizations as well.
03:51I worked for the John Birch Society.
03:53I worked for TPUSA Faith.
03:55So, I used to work for Charlie Kirk.
03:57And then, now I do Church and State.
04:00And I also work for a company called Mark 37.
04:02We sell ghost phones and ghost laptops.
04:04So, phones and laptops that don't spy on you.
04:08Yeah, that's...
04:11We could talk for hours just on that alone, but I'm going to avoid that.
04:17The next obvious question is, of course, the Church and State show title.
04:24Obviously, from the Jefferson letter that the left likes to bastardize all the time.
04:32It's not in the founding documents.
04:34It still applies.
04:36And it's to protect the church from the state, not the other way around.
04:42And what was the genesis of you deciding to go with that title?
04:49So, when I was a city councilman, I was running for re-election.
04:53And I lost.
04:54And it was brutal.
04:56I was like, God, I know you called me into politics.
04:59What happened?
04:59Why did I lose?
05:01I'd been interviewed on a number of different shows and had actually guest hosted as well.
05:06So, a week after I had lost the election, I get a call from a radio station.
05:10Would you like to start doing a talk show?
05:12And I was like, oh, okay.
05:14Not my plans, your plans.
05:16Got it.
05:16I need to stop questioning God.
05:18Okay, perfect.
05:19I actually ended up partnering with my best friend who's a pastor.
05:22What we did is, he's a pastor.
05:24I'm a politician, church and state.
05:27Did it for, well, I've been doing this for almost a decade.
05:31He ended up going into missions.
05:33He actually left about a year and a half ago.
05:36But we're still great friends.
05:37And so, the name sticks.
05:39And, you know, part of the premise of what I do on the show is encouraging Christians to get involved.
05:44And we've got to get involved politically.
05:47You know, John Adams said that this constitution was made for a moral and religious people as wholly inadequate to
05:51any other.
05:52Why is the country slipping?
05:54Why do we see cracks in the original intent?
05:58Because we're not moral or religious people anymore.
06:00I've got an article on that.
06:03Is prayer alone enough?
06:05No, it's not.
06:06You need to get off your lazy hindsight.
06:09It's like, also, to Corinthians.
06:14If my people shall humble themselves and pray, I shall hear and, oh, the important part, and turn from their
06:27wicked ways.
06:28I'm using air quotes for the benefit of the transcript there.
06:33I shall hear and heal their land.
06:38Well, you can't skip over the turn.
06:41That means us.
06:44That means an action.
06:46That means we get off our butt.
06:49That doesn't mean just pray and God waves a magic wand.
06:53God is telling us he will help.
06:57But we have to work to turn the nation from the wicked ways.
07:05And he will help.
07:07Yes, an important distinction.
07:12Absolutely.
07:12Faith is a verb.
07:14James tells us, you know, faith without works is dead.
07:16So we've got to get active.
07:17I never diminish the power of prayer.
07:20Prayer is very, very powerful.
07:22And I encourage people to engage in it.
07:24But it also requires, our faith requires us to go and do the things that Christ told us to do.
07:29And that's to go and make disciples and teaching them everything that he taught his disciples.
07:35And so when we look at that, Jesus had a lot to say about the religious leaders, the political leaders.
07:39And we've got to engage in the system.
07:42We have the benefit as Americans of being born into a republic.
07:46The best system of government that's ever been applied.
07:50But we're apathetic.
07:51We're lazy to that.
07:52We've enjoyed these freedoms to such a degree that we've gotten lazy.
07:55And we're not in the game.
07:57We're not in the fight anymore.
07:58And so we as Christians got to get back out there.
08:01And we got to be careful with that as well.
08:04Because it can become a God.
08:05In fact, I'm very open about this.
08:07If there was a period in my life where I worshipped liberty over God.
08:11I was worshipping the creation over the creator.
08:15And so we've got to have it aligned.
08:16Christ is king.
08:17He has to be king of our lives in everything that we do.
08:20Now, we've all been given different talents.
08:22That's very biblical, obviously.
08:24And so if you have your talent, if you have something that you're passionate about, get out there and start
08:28working into it.
08:29Whether that be education, politics, whatever it looks like.
08:32You have a mission here on earth.
08:34And it's to advance the kingdom of God.
08:37But you should do it in the field that you can apply yourself.
08:40Yeah, a couple things.
08:42Now, first, the whole no kings, but King Jesus.
08:47The current leftist cultural Marxist crowd in their no kings protest.
08:54They are really not even just anti-American.
08:58They are anti-Christian.
09:00Because they leave out that other part.
09:04The whole battle cry of the revolution.
09:07No, it doesn't say God in the Constitution.
09:11It doesn't need to.
09:13It says endowed by our creator in the Declaration.
09:16That was already established.
09:18And even before that, it was further established in our battle cry, no kings.
09:25And you've got to finish the sentence.
09:28But King Jesus.
09:29So, all these morons.
09:32Oh, they weren't Christians.
09:35Oh, yeah.
09:37That was just the best.
09:39No kings, but King Jesus.
09:41You've got to complete.
09:43It's like Matthew 7.
09:46Judge not, lest ye be judged.
09:49It's really condemn not, lest ye be condemned.
09:52Because there's more to Matthew 7 than those seven words, including remove the log from vinyl.
10:01Yes, we are to judge biblically ourselves and all biblically.
10:09And the other thing is to quote the great religious scholar, Geddy Lee of Rush.
10:18Not Glenn Ball, the talk show guy.
10:21The Canadian rock trio.
10:23Not known as a Christian band, but indeed, very Christian.
10:28The free will song.
10:29If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
10:35Indeed, God gave us free will.
10:37And only thing necessary, evil prevail.
10:41Good people do nothing.
10:43Again, faith without works.
10:45You must sow to reap, or we are all choking down the rotten fruit of others.
10:53Yes?
10:54Yeah, yeah.
10:55I would agree.
10:56Context absolutely matters.
10:58It's like that great Christian Valentine's card that has Joel Osteen on it.
11:03And it says, you must be context because I want to take you out.
11:07No, you got to read the Bible in its entirety, right?
11:11And you can't cherry pick little phrases that you want to use to attack an individual that you don't necessarily
11:17agree with.
11:18The left is the easy enemy, though.
11:20And I should preface this by saying that I'm a libertarian.
11:25So I don't play the whole party politics.
11:27I refer to myself as a bibliotarian.
11:29You and I talked about this when I hosted you on the show.
11:32We're kind of like-minded in that.
11:34You're a Christian.
11:36Biblical community, Christianism, yes.
11:40Overworldly communism.
11:41There is a big difference between the two.
11:45Absolutely.
11:46Yeah.
11:46And so as a bibliotarian, I'm looking at the left.
11:50Obviously, we have massive problems there.
11:52They've rejected Christ.
11:54They've gotten into a lot of the mainline Protestant churches and brought in communist ideology, really satanic ideology, if you
12:01want to get down to the root.
12:01But I think the bigger concern that we have as the American church is actually coming from the right.
12:09And there's a lot of worship.
12:11Rhinos.
12:12Well, not just rhinos.
12:14There's a lot of worship going on with Donald Trump, for example.
12:18Trump cultism is every bit as bad as Trump derangement syndrome.
12:22Yes.
12:23TDS goes both ways.
12:24Yeah.
12:25There is emotional, hysterical snowflakes on the right also.
12:30I say that all the time.
12:31I'm sorry.
12:32But if you're an emotional, hysteric, non-logic, non-reasoned, non-thinker, you're every bit as bad as those on
12:42the left.
12:43And a Trump cultist will get into more.
12:46Indeed, it's as bad as TDS.
12:48It's non-thinking.
12:51Yes, absolutely.
12:53And to give examples, I'll give two examples of this.
12:56When that portrait came out a few months back and I had Trump as Christ and he didn't paint it.
13:03No, I get that.
13:04But he shared it.
13:05And a lot of people and rightfully so, in my opinion, a lot of Christians were like, yeah, that's not
13:11right.
13:11We don't do that.
13:13If you criticized it when it happened under Obama as Christ, as a God figure, then although I would say
13:27I understand the Trump thing.
13:30They tried Trump as the healer.
13:34Okay, that's a little better.
13:36But, yeah, it still kind of dances on that line at best and goes over it at worst.
13:45Yes.
13:46It certainly does.
13:47And then we had the Trump golden statue.
13:49And literally, Pastor Mark Burns, who I know, was like, this is not a golden calf.
13:54And we're over here like, pretty sure that's a golden calf.
13:57That looks like a golden calf.
13:58So, yeah, these are very problematic.
14:01And so when we have Christian MAGA-type people that are defending this, look, you have to understand that you're
14:08being used.
14:08And this is a tool that the state uses.
14:11And you pointed it out rightfully with Obama.
14:13And it goes back beyond that.
14:15Look at images of presidents, of leaders in this country, and you will see them strategically placed with, like, halos
14:22behind them, lighting behind them.
14:24So it kind of shines out.
14:25They use religious imagery with our leaders in this country because they want you to worship the state, not Christ
14:33Jesus.
14:34Yeah.
14:35Now, the whole Trump—yeah, constitutionalists, this very show, back to the context, the whole Bible in full context.
14:45Good, bad, ugly of our politics.
14:49Yes, left and right both at times deserve to be called out.
14:55Trump is not a conservative.
14:58He is a populist.
15:00One of the Trump cultist things that drives me crazy is Doge.
15:06The committee is now officially coming to an end, okay?
15:12$400 billion saved a year, this year, okay?
15:16But that isn't codified into law for each year.
15:20We are still running a $1.5 trillion deficit.
15:25So $400 billion out of a government that spends $7 trillion a year, it's still—yes, credit where credit's due, it's
15:40something.
15:41And we need to start somewhere.
15:43But it's still a drop in the bucket, and we're still on track because Trump has signed every single CR,
15:52signed every single budget bill.
15:55He's not even threatened to veto any spending.
16:00Not even once, let alone done it.
16:02So he's not a conservative.
16:05He's spending like crazy, like every other president, $39 trillion in debt, on track for $42 trillion at the end
16:16of his now second term.
16:19So I don't care who—I criticized Reagan.
16:23So I'm not giving Trump a pass.
16:26Yes, I have criticized every single president.
16:29And no, spare me, Newt, and your lie.
16:34You did not balance the budget.
16:38Again, credit where credit is due.
16:40Yes, Clinton and Gingrich reduced the rate of growth.
16:47Not cuts.
16:49Reduced the rate of growth.
16:51And back then, unlike during Obama and Biden, growth was still good.
16:58But still, you can't grow or inflate your way out of this debt, this problem.
17:07They moved a lot of things off budget.
17:09So, yeah, they deserve credit for shrinking the deficits.
17:14But every year of Clinton's presidency, the debt continued to rise.
17:20And that is called us being consistent and principled, principles, not personalities.
17:29Yes?
17:29I would agree with that.
17:31And I say all the time on the show that truly the last constitutional president we had was Calvin Coolidge.
17:37And that's sad.
17:38We have to go all the way back to the 1920s to find a true constitutionalist in the executive office.
17:45But ever since then, I mean, going from FDR forward, we have seen very progressive.
17:51We've seen more of a uniparty style.
17:53I mean, the Democrats are more of the welfare party, whereas the Republicans are more of the warfare party.
17:58But regardless, they're all using Keynesian economics.
18:02I mean, you're pointing it out right there.
18:05Baseline budgeting bullshit.
18:06Yes, exactly.
18:08So, they're using that.
18:10And, I mean, our system, our economic system in this country is in shambles.
18:16I mean, we're already dealing with the Federal Reserve, which is absolutely illegal and unconstitutional.
18:21Neither federal and there are no reserves.
18:23Exactly.
18:24And now, I mean, I don't know if you saw this, Joe.
18:25So, you may want to look this up to fact check me here or the audience can.
18:29But in 2025, Trump actually initiated something where we, the individual, can actually pay the government to reduce the deficit.
18:39It's a voluntary program where we can pay the government to reduce the deficit.
18:44Like, the biblical passage of fooling his money or soon parted comes to mind right there.
18:48So, you already taxed me to death.
18:50You're already stealing the purchasing power of my dollar through inflation.
18:54I don't even own my home because of property taxes, and now you want me to voluntarily assist the government
19:01who's done the worst job imaginable.
19:04If this was a private company, they would have been bankrupt probably a century ago, and they want me to
19:10pay voluntarily into that?
19:11Yeah, no thank you.
19:13When I was young and dumb, I did that.
19:16I wrote a separate check to the Bureau of the Public Debt to help reduce the deficit and the debt.
19:22And you leftists who are constantly talking about, we need to tax more, need to tax.
19:29You can still write an extra tax.
19:32You don't have to, by law, take all your deductions.
19:36You can volunteer, but no, they don't want them to pay more.
19:43They want everybody else always to pay more.
19:46It's like Bernie Sandhards, of course.
19:48Of course, millionaires and billionaires, you notice he never says millionaires anymore, since he's worth over six million on his
19:57way to ten million, has three houses, including a beach house, beachfront house.
20:03So much for global warming, going to wash all the shorelines away.
20:08Shall be known by fruits.
20:10I don't care what you say.
20:12You shall be known by what you show me.
20:14Another Rush song, show, don't tell.
20:19I did that before.
20:21I would certainly never, ever do that again.
20:24But those of you crying, you can step up and pay more.
20:29And the whole church and state revelation, mark of the beast.
20:35Trump is eagerly rushing in digital currency.
20:41See, Trump, I've criticized also for the elimination of the penny.
20:46It's the first step.
20:48Then you eliminate the nickel and the dime.
20:51And eventually, all regular exchange monetaries are gone.
20:56And we're at mark of the beast.
21:00You're absolutely right, Joseph.
21:01I don't, that's not me saying, oh, Trump is the Antichrist.
21:05No, I'm not saying that.
21:07Paulie, look, come on, people.
21:10The Trump cultists will be all over social media.
21:14Oh, my God, he's got TV.
21:16No, principles, not personalities.
21:19When somebody's worthy of praise, I give it.
21:23When worthy of criticism, I give it.
21:26And that's one of them.
21:27He's taken bad advice.
21:30There are, you can make a tin penny and paint it copper.
21:34So, there are things you could do short of attempting to eliminate the penny.
21:40So, your thoughts on that?
21:43Yeah, I'm glad you brought eschatology into the conversation.
21:46And let me just say that I am a Lutheran, LCMS.
21:49I'm the good side of the Lutheran church.
21:52There is a conservative side.
21:53There is a progressive side.
21:54We are not the progressive side.
21:56So, I'm not a dispensationalist.
21:59I believe in covenant theology.
22:01I'm a futurist, amillennialist.
22:03So, I'm not necessarily looking at, you know, the pre-trib rapture.
22:07But I do see a lot of signs that the book of Revelation and other books as well point
22:14to that make me scratch my head a little bit and go, hey, I'm not saying that we are
22:18definitely living in the end of days, but we should be.
22:21I'm not saying that either.
22:23There's always been, ever since Christ's passage, those wandering around, the end is
22:29nigh signs.
22:31We shall not know the time.
22:34Yes.
22:35It's in God's time, not ours.
22:38Absolutely.
22:38But that being said, there is some things that we should be noticing as Christians.
22:42And you have to understand, you know, I hate it when people say that government is stupid.
22:47No, these people are not necessarily stupid.
22:49Yeah, sure.
22:49Some of the front men, you know, AOCs, Bernie Sanders, and some within the Republican side
22:54as well, they're not all that bright, okay?
22:56But some of these individuals, the people behind the scenes, the puppet masters, these people
23:02are brilliant.
23:02And so when we're looking at things like, for example, Donald Trump and talking about
23:07making Canada the 51st state, right?
23:09And taking Greenland as well.
23:11Like people are like, oh, this is kind of strange.
23:14And you had the left going, orange man's bad, you know?
23:16And then the right was like, yeah, let's do it.
23:19But why did he want these two specific areas?
23:22Well, you have to go back to the Council on Foreign Relations.
23:25I read their publications.
23:26I recommend people do.
23:27Know your enemy.
23:28But the Council on Foreign Relations actually released something in 2018 called the Ten Kingdoms
23:35Plan.
23:36Where did we hear about the Ten Kingdoms?
23:38Oh, I'm sorry.
23:39That's right.
23:39That's in the Book of Revelation.
23:40So they already are deciding to carve out the entire world into 10 specific regions.
23:46Initially in this plan, it was going to be the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
23:50But ultimately, they revised the plan and they made the first region the United States, Canada,
23:56and Greenland.
23:57So when Donald Trump, a few years later, starts talking about taking this Northern Hemisphere
24:03and making it a region or a kingdom, I pay attention to that, okay?
24:07When we start looking at Elon Musk telling us that he wants to put a chip into our brains
24:12and we got the right is like, Elon Musk is the man.
24:15No, he's not.
24:17No, he is not.
24:18This guy is a sicko, okay?
24:20He wants to put a chip in my brain.
24:22No, thank you.
24:23I think I'm going to decline that.
24:24Why?
24:25Because I've read the book.
24:26I'm all for it for medical reasons, someone who's disabled, and if it can help.
24:34But that's how they get you.
24:35That's the slippery slope.
24:37That's it.
24:37Bingo.
24:38Bingo.
24:39I've got shows on slippery slope all the time.
24:43Exactly.
24:44It's when it goes well beyond that.
24:47And the problem is, it always does.
24:51Of course it does.
24:52Technology always takes us to that point, right?
24:54It's because man, through technology, is trying to become God.
24:57And God's not going to sit on his hands and allow that to occur.
25:00And the Bible is filled with multiple stories.
25:03Obviously, the Tower of Babel is probably the most familiar one to Christians.
25:06But any time we start trying to play God, God's hand comes in and he disrupts those plans.
25:12And so you think about what's going to happen with technology, with the advancements that we have,
25:17and the ability of people to become cyborgs, really.
25:20And Yuval Noah Harari is literally talking about this, transhumanism.
25:24If you don't know who he is, I highly recommend you look him up.
25:27Yuval Noah Harari.
25:28But transhumanism will make it to where, by their own words, it'll be the next evolution of mankind.
25:35But imagine what that would look like in the workplace.
25:38If you're dealing with people who have access immediately to the internet, through their mind, through their brain,
25:45because they have a chip in them, you are going to quickly, if you decline that,
25:50if you say, no, I'm going to maintain my humanity, you are going to become obsolete.
25:54And that's the plan right there.
25:56If I'm in the business world and I can access the computer, I can say, oh, sorry, boss.
26:02I don't know the answer to that.
26:03Let me get back to you in a day versus somebody can go, boom, I have the answer for you
26:09right now.
26:09Who do you think is going to be employed?
26:12Yeah.
26:13And I'm all for like ectoskeletal, again, for medical that can help people walk.
26:20But again, it's always the beginning.
26:23And it's always we are given free will.
26:26And there will always be those who will choose evil.
26:29And again, back to the Burke quote, the only thing necessary for evil prevail, good peoples do nothing.
26:37And a whole lot of nothing is the norm today for most people.
26:42I'm making myself a note.
26:44I will include my songs, No Kings, But King Jesus, God's Time, and Evil Prevail at the end of this
26:54episode, because it all relates.
26:55Now, back to other Republicans, like Jim Jordan, talks a great game.
27:03But I got up before I started, before we started and printed this off from Newsmax on Truth Social.
27:13I said, yep, more talk, zero action.
27:17We got a lot of people who talk a great game, but they don't, like Pam Glam for the cameras,
27:26Blondie, needs to be fired.
27:28Whole lot of talk.
27:29Oh, we're referring so-and-so to this.
27:32We're referring.
27:34We're referring.
27:34It's like in this post, DOJ warning, the Justice Department has sent letters to election officials in all 50 states
27:44and the District of Columbia, warning them that they could face criminal, could, they won't.
27:54They could, they should, they won't.
27:59More talk.
28:00And this kind of points to that, that uniparty that I was, I was talking about earlier.
28:05The reality is, is you're falling prey to tribalism.
28:09And they've done this to us for so long.
28:11They've convinced us that the enemy is on the other side of the aisle.
28:15And in reality, I tell people all this time, your Democrat neighbor is not your enemy.
28:21Your Democrat neighbor, if you go and talk to them, they're going to run.
28:24How much of it, if they're an actual old school Democrat or a commie, fachy, sociocrat.
28:31You know, I'll tell you a story in a minute here that is really surprising.
28:35But to continue on with that, Democrat neighbor, they want primarily the same things you do.
28:41They want a house.
28:42They want to be unmolested.
28:43They want their kids to go to school.
28:45They want to work their job.
28:47We've fallen prey to this idea that the enemy is left, right.
28:51But the reality is the enemy is top, bottom.
28:54Okay?
28:54The vast majority of us are at that bottom.
28:56It's like what George Carlin used to say, right?
28:59It's a big club and you ain't in it.
29:00Okay?
29:01Exactly.
29:01The top, the elite.
29:04Groucho Marx, I don't want to be part of any club that would have me as a member.
29:12Exactly.
29:12So that top elite class, and it's not even necessarily about the wealth, all right?
29:17That's a communist talking point.
29:19It's a ruling elitism.
29:21Exactly.
29:22It's the elite class who believes that they can govern ourselves.
29:25The oligarchy that Bernie Sanders is part of that tries to talk against.
29:29Exactly.
29:29But, yeah, it's this elite class who thinks that they can govern you better than you can govern yourself.
29:34And I refuse to operate in that system.
29:36I'm a free man and I'm going to operate that way.
29:38Now, to tell you this story, I was recently asked to speak at an event against data centers.
29:44And, you know, this is something that we should all be very concerned about.
29:48And it's not the old school data centers.
29:50Look, data centers have been around for a long time.
29:52I'm a former IT guy.
29:54Exactly.
29:54There we go.
29:54Yeah.
29:55So data centers have been around a long time.
29:56It's this new version, these AI data centers that are being built in areas all around the country.
30:04They're part of that surveillance system.
30:06As they start with the Palantir, the Flock cameras, the Signal Trace, they need places to store all that data
30:12on We the People.
30:13And so these data centers are being built up all across the country.
30:17There's an environmental factor there as well.
30:19This is where the left can come in because it's actually ruining the environment and ruining people's homes and their
30:24farms.
30:25But I was asked to speak at this event.
30:27Before the event occurs, there's this long-haired guy, a little bit different.
30:32And he looks at me and he goes, where do you align politically?
30:34I said, I'm a Christian libertarian.
30:37He goes, okay.
30:38He goes, I'm Antifa.
30:39And I was like, oh, interesting.
30:42I've never had a cordial conversation with Antifa before.
30:46You generally usually can't.
30:50But he tells me, he's like, but I'm the good Antifa.
30:54He's like, I hated Biden.
30:56And I also hate Trump.
30:57And I'm like, well, I also didn't like Biden.
30:59And I don't really care for a lot of things Trump's doing.
31:02Absolutely.
31:03I've got several episodes.
31:05I called into Wham Radio weeks ago.
31:08The collectivist, absolutist mindset.
31:12We are all given Martin Luther King Jr. content of character.
31:17You can't go based on the lumping of a group.
31:23Is every Muslim on the planet my enemy?
31:26No.
31:27I support Dr. Sudi Jasser for Congress.
31:31He wrote the book, Reform, the Battle for the Soul of Islam.
31:36But are most of them a problem right now?
31:41Yes, but that doesn't mean all.
31:43You can't make collectivist, absolutist statements like that.
31:49And back to Jim Jordan.
31:51More hearings.
31:52More dog and pony shows.
31:54But I'm sorry.
31:55I interrupted you.
31:57No, no, no.
31:57You're right, though.
31:58And that's exactly what it is.
31:59Dog and pony shows.
32:00And so when I ended up talking to this Antifa guy, look, we disagreed on a lot of things.
32:06But what we did agree on was that the data center should not be built in the town where I'm
32:11at.
32:12And so we united over that.
32:14And you know what?
32:15The event, it ended up being really good.
32:18A lot of people from the left and the right coming together saying, yeah, we don't want this.
32:22Some of them were there for the environment.
32:23Some of them were there for more of the privacy issues.
32:26But still, if we unite as Americans and actually identify the true enemy, which is that elite class that I
32:32was talking about, we can make headway here.
32:35We can actually come back towards a republic because we haven't been operating as a republic for quite some time.
32:40There's a reason why every single talking head talks about our democracy.
32:43When you go back and read what the founding fathers thought about democracy.
32:47No, we were never intended to be a democracy.
32:50We talked about that on your show.
32:52I have my old notes here.
32:54Meritocracy versus our current ineptocracy or mobocracy.
32:59Yes.
32:59Yeah.
33:00And democracy is a short-lived.
33:02The Animal Farm movie was just out.
33:04Did a great job.
33:05It wasn't anti-capitalist.
33:07It was anti-crony capitalist.
33:13I'm anti-crony capitalist also.
33:16That's not good either.
33:18And I'm a free market libertarian.
33:21And the free market can differ from capitalism.
33:24A lot of times they try to merge these two words together.
33:26But it's the same as republican democracy.
33:29They can mean two very, very different things.
33:31And returning back to democracy, you have to understand that what our founding fathers thought and believed and knew about
33:37democracy is that they're short-lived, that they're chaotic.
33:39And ultimately, what they result in is a collapse.
33:43And that collapse is engineered.
33:45Think Cloward Piven, right?
33:47Is that you, through that chaos, you can have the phoenix rise.
33:51And that phoenix that rises is always some type of totalitarian system.
33:56That's always what occurs throughout history is a totalitarian regime emerges.
34:00And the people clamor for it.
34:02They want it.
34:03Because why?
34:04Because in chaos, they want to feel safe.
34:07And that safety, the best person to come in or industry to come in and offer that safety is government.
34:15Yeah.
34:16Getting back to Dr. Zutty Jasser.
34:18We need him as part of a common sense caucus, as opposed to Rashida Taliban, as I call her here
34:28in Michigan, the Ilan Omars and the AOCs.
34:32But you need a Zutty Jasser to indeed counter an Ilan Esme, which is her legal name.
34:42It's not Omar.
34:43That's the family she engaged with to illegally immigrate here.
34:49But again, a whole other story to go down.
34:52Thanks, Caleb, not Kaleeb, Caleb Collier for coming on.
34:59Of course, the time has flown again.
35:00We could talk for hours, but then the show would be too long.
35:05And let me remind, I was on with Caleb Collier on Church and State podcast back in May of 2026.
35:14So check out that show.
35:16Thanks, Caleb, for stopping by.
35:20Yeah, absolutely.
35:21And if I may, I'd love the audience to go over to churchandstate.media.
35:24That's our website.
35:26If you fill out that annoying registration form right off the bat, you'll get our newsletter.
35:30But I also personally call every single person that fills that out.
35:33So if you want to talk with me, there's your opportunity.
35:35Also, check out my book, Political Incontinence.
35:40This is a book just filled with stupid quotes from politicians.
35:43So it's a real fun bathroom reader or coffee table book.
35:47We're actually working on a second one called Mainstream.
35:50For the benefit of the audio only and the transcript, the title of the book, again, is that you're holding
35:58up.
35:58Political Incontinence.
36:00So it's just stupid quotes from politicians.
36:02As I said, we're working on book number two.
36:04It's almost completed.
36:05It's Mainstream Manure, a steady stream of yellow journalism.
36:08So we got another one coming out.
36:10Plenty of verbal diarrhea out there to quote.
36:14There absolutely is.
36:15But, yeah, most importantly, please check out the website, churchandstate.media.
36:19And, Joseph, thanks for allowing me to come on the show.
36:21It's been a blast.
36:23Thanks for stopping by.
36:24We'll have to do this again sometime next year, a follow-up episode.
36:30There'll be plenty of folly between now and then to be able to talk about.
36:35Indeed.
36:36From both sides of the aisle.
36:39Again, this show is not meant to be partisan.
36:42It's not meant to be denominational either.
36:46It's about Christianity as a whole, the whole Bible in full context.
36:52It is humans that have caused all the denominational divisions and the arguments.
36:59Jesus never contradicted himself.
37:02Not even where it says, one place, turn your sword into a plowshare, and another place where he says, who
37:11has a garment should sell it and buy a sword and prepare for battle.
37:17Those two don't contradict.
37:19They are contextually about particular places and times and not others.
37:26Yes?
37:27Amen.
37:28All right.
37:29Have a good one, brother.
37:31Take care.
37:31God bless.
37:31Thank you, you too.
37:33Sunday thoughts.
37:35Coffee steaming quiet streets.
37:39Headlines heavy.
37:41People breaking when no one sees.
37:46So I lift their names up.
37:49Every burden I can't fix.
37:52Let it rise like incense.
37:55Every hurt into your hands.
37:58I'm sending thoughts and prayers to heaven over every broken heart.
38:05Every family, every soldier, every shadow.
38:09When they scar, when this world crowns its pretenders, I remember what they preached.
38:17Our fathers wrote it down forever.
38:20Our fathers wrote it down forever.
38:21No kings, but King Jesus over me.
38:26Jesus is king.
38:29Jesus is king.
38:32Jesus is king.
38:36Oh, church steeple, cross still reaching past the sky.
38:43Ancient promise, still the answer to our cries.
38:49From the fields at Valley Forge, to the pew I'm kneeling in.
38:56Same confession on our lips.
38:59Same hope that never ends.
39:02I'm sending thoughts and prayers to heaven over every broken heart.
39:09Every neighbor, every stranger, every home that's torn apart.
39:15When this world crowns its pretenders, I remember what they preached.
39:21Our fathers wrote it down forever.
39:25No kings, but King Jesus over me.
39:30Jesus is king.
39:33Jesus is king.
39:36Jesus is king.
39:38Oh, you reign.
39:40Oh, you reign.
39:41Our USA foundations, our Judeo-Christian beliefs, and our Republic decree.
39:50No kings.
39:55Lord, you reign, for King Jesus over me.
40:15Oh, oh, oh, oh
40:24Oh, oh, oh, oh
41:05Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
41:08Oh, oh, oh, oh
41:23Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
42:19Oh, oh, oh oh
42:37Oh, oh
43:34Oh, oh, oh
43:37Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
43:52Oh, oh, oh, oh
44:22Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
44:51Be the liberty beacon, reflect God's lighthouse shine
44:55So to reap, known by your fruits
45:03God's time, not ours
45:31Only thing necessary
45:35For evil prevail, what they say
45:40Good peoples do nothing, doing nothing
45:43The state with most today
45:51The world keeps turning, a dark strange place
45:57Good folks are yearning, for a saving grace
46:05The ship has sailed, they say, on a troubled tide
46:12But what do you do today, with nowhere to hide?
46:21Questions I've been asking in all my writings
46:25So what's your move?
46:28Just what about is it, you're willing to try to do?
46:35Evil prevails
46:38When good just sleeps
46:42Light sometimes fails
46:46While the darkness creeps
46:50What are you doing now?
46:53Tell me, tell me
46:54How will you take a vow
46:58For all to see?
47:06The news, it screams a broken sound
47:10Lost in bad dreams on hallowed ground
47:13They say it's all lost cause, a losing fight
47:17But what about your applause for what is right?
47:21Only thing it takes for shadow to prevail
47:24Is a crowd of quiet hearts
47:26Scroll inside, then turn away
47:29Say, this world is torn apart
47:36Shit's gone out past the rusted pier
47:39We just watch it fade
47:42On this falling ground
47:45On this falling ground
47:45We're standing
47:47Still afraid to wait
47:50So what are you doing?
47:53What are you doing now?
47:58To help the light
48:00Help the light
48:01Help the light
48:03Break through the doubt
48:05Are you just waiting
48:07For someone else to move?
48:13Or will you stand
48:15Will you stand
48:15Will you stand
48:16And be the proof
48:20Tell me
48:21What are you doing?
48:28What are you doing?
48:37Good folks in a quiet room
48:39Hands clean
48:40Eyes closed
48:41Say, someday I'll make a change
48:43Someday never shows
48:45Every hurt you walk right past
48:47Cuts a deeper line
48:48Every that's not up to me
48:50Helps the dark align
48:52So what are you doing?
48:55What are you doing now?
49:00To help the light
49:02Help the light
49:03Help the light
49:04Break through the doubt
49:07Are you just waiting
49:09For someone else to move?
49:15Or will you stand
49:16Will you stand
49:17Will you stand
49:18And be the proof
49:21Tell me
49:22What are you doing?
49:26What are you doing?
49:30What are you doing?
49:38It's a hard, hard question
49:41Looking back at you
49:42Yeah, in the mirror
49:43In the silence
49:44You already know what's true
49:46If you're breathing
49:47You're required to answer
49:49With your life
49:50Every minute that you're giving
49:53Takes a sigh
