King Charles visits the new headquarters of the British Transport Police, where he meets first responders who attended the scene of the Bedford train crash in June. 00:23it's actually quite efficient with it,
00:27to suspect or perpetrated crime.
00:30We preserve the evidence, we process it,
00:33fingerprints, DNA, things like that.
00:35We've also just taken on both the digital side of things,
00:38so we've got around about 40 of these now in operation across the whole of the UK,
00:46so we're running all the way up to Scotland,
00:47all the way down to as far as Truro.
00:49It's great for us to be able to get out and deal with those
00:51and for the people we can see on the railway every day,
00:53and give us a round of applause together,
00:55fast and high, to see what they're up to.
