President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. orders a full government response to ensure the country’s preparedness for the possible impact of Super Typhoon "Inday," Malacañang said on July 8, 2026. In a press conference, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said that Marcos was monitoring the situation as Inday entered the country. She also said all concerned government agencies have mobilized their personnel in response to the typhoon.
