00:14We were deceptive then.
00:17We are self-deceptive today.
00:20Would an animal even think of wiping out an entire ethnicity?
00:24What we call as evolution is just the evolution of the body.
00:30And the body includes the brain.
00:32And thought has evolved.
00:34But not the center of thought.
00:35So at our center, we are not just beastly.
00:39We are worse than animals.
00:41So I used to say for long, for many years,
00:43that the gorilla now has a laptop and a nuclear button and an ICBM.
00:49That was an understatement.
00:51It's not the gorilla that has all these things.
00:53No gorilla would ever push a nuclear button.
00:56No gorilla is interested in burning down the jungle he himself lives in.
01:02Does any animal do that?
01:04But we are a special animal.
01:05This is our home, this planet.
01:07And we are burning it down.
01:08So to be fair to the humble gorilla,
01:11it's the demon with the nuclear button.
01:13Not the gorilla with the nuclear button.
