01:11What is SMG4?
01:12And why are we making this show?
01:13Y-yeah.
01:14And to answer those questions, let's go to our special guest!
01:26Hey, I'm Luke, the creator of SMG4.
01:30For anyone who isn't familiar, SMG4 was a long-running weird-ass animated comedy series I made on YouTube.
01:34It started with Mario Machinimas and eventually evolved into something so much more.
01:38The show ran for 14 wonderful years, more than half my life, and just recently concluded with its final episode
01:44in December of 2025.
01:46Zach and Micah were writers on SMG4 and played a huge role in creating Mr. Puzzles.
01:49His personality, his vibe, and the weirdly concerning thoughts rattling around in his head.
01:54When SMG4 ended, it felt like there was still a lot more story left to tell with him, so I
01:58reached out to Xam with an idea.

02:02What if you guys made something new, centered entirely around Mr. Puzzles?
02:05It was a very generous offer, and after serious consideration and deep discussion, we finally said...

02:15We've always wanted to make an original show on Xamination, and we loved Mr. Puzzles, so we figured this would
02:19be the perfect opportunity.
02:21Calling all villains isn't a direct continuation of SMG4.
02:24It takes place years later, following Mr. Puzzles as he's evolved, for better or worse.
02:29Luckily, you don't need to have seen SMG4 to jump right in.
02:32If you're brand new, this show is built so you can start fresh and fully enjoy the ride.
02:37And if you have seen SMG4, there are plenty of nods and juicy Easter eggs waiting for you.
02:42Yep, I'm honestly so excited to see what the Xams will do with Mr. Puzzles in this brand new series.
