KJ-3000 Begins Flight Testing

China's KJ-3000 AWACS prototype has entered another phase of flight testing, showcasing the PLA Air Force's latest airborne early warning platform. Built on the Y-20 airframe, the KJ-3000 reportedly features a powerful AESA radar with claimed detection ranges of up to 1,000 km, though these capabilities remain unverified publicly. The KJ-3000 is expected to enhance long-range surveillance, command and control, and joint operations across future high-intensity battlefields.
