00:27¡Gracias!
00:30¡Gracias!
00:31¡Gracias!
00:34¡Gracias!
00:37Good evening America.
00:39If you think that was easy, it wasn't.
00:45And I want to thank everybody because
00:48they did the right thing.
00:49They saw lightning and
00:51I said there's no way if we have to speak
00:54in front of one person at
00:55four o'clock in the morning, I'm going to be here.
00:57There's no way we can be deterred.
01:03And they estimated they had 375,000 people before everybody had to leave.
01:10And they now have 150,000 people.
01:14It's the craziest thing anyone's ever seen.
01:17At least.
01:19And I want to just thank you.
01:21And I feel so badly about some people.
01:23They left and they couldn't get back.
01:26But you're very special people.
01:28And we have a very special country.
01:30Thank you very much.
01:34Tonight we come together for one of the most joyous and glorious milestones of all time.
01:40And you know what that is.
01:41250, the 250th anniversary.
01:45And I do have to say this.
01:46One of my very brilliant people backstage said,
01:49don't worry about it, sir.
01:50We can do it maybe next week.
01:52I said, it doesn't work next week.
01:54This is the big day.
01:56We want July 4th.
01:58We're not looking for July something else.
02:01Because this is the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
02:08Nothing like it.
02:12For two and a half centuries, our American republic has stood as the crowning achievement of human history.
02:21This country is the home of freedom.
02:24This is the land of liberty.
02:27And this is a flag that's the banner of the most extraordinary, most exceptional, most incredible nation ever to exist
02:36on the face of the earth.
02:38And we're doing better now than we've ever done before.
02:42For three and a half centuries, our American republic rested.
02:50She doesn't want to talk to us all.
02:51I think it was about 15 years long.
02:51Gracias.
