00:06Yeah I mean we we prepared really well. We were dreaming of yellow.
00:11The team was really committed with a leader like like Mads and also with the
00:15legs that we had today with with Vasek. It was really possible.
00:18We had a bit of bad luck with the mechanical of Skelly.
00:22Skelly and these types of you know this type of course is one of the best in
00:26the world and for sure we could have maybe I don't know I don't want to say
00:30we would have won but for sure we would have been a a bit more in front.
00:34But yeah even with the bad luck you know we still have guys
00:38like Mads and Vasek that put the team on on their shoulders and really
00:42made the difference and thanks to them I was in a position at the bottom of the
00:45climb to still be in more or less contention. So yeah I think
00:49overall the team did a really good performance even if luck was not
00:52on our side and I'm quite happy to have this jersey.
00:56It's uh it's always stressful to start a Tour de France especially at home
01:00for you you must be happy that it's underway.
01:04Yeah it's nice to get things going also I mean this discipline uh it's it's quite
01:09stressful because everything has to go quite well all in sync everything uh yeah
01:14timed perfectly and it's been you know the last three four days before the tour only
01:19thinking about the stage preparing training with the TTT
01:22going to uh to Montmelot to practice so it's been uh yeah a lot of work behind
01:28so it's also I mean I really enjoyed the course today and I really enjoyed the experience but
01:32it's also nice to have get it done and tomorrow start with the with uh you know normal Tour de
01:37France.
01:37But uh but fireworks to be to be expected uh it's going to be quite a stage tomorrow.
01:43For sure I expect uh it's a really hard stage uh yeah first we have to see what breakaway goes
01:49away
01:50but I mean the last circuit is it's super hard super tough and for sure we're going to see uh
01:54already attacks from from guys like Taddei and these so we have to be ready.
