00:50Today we're celebrating the International Review along with Sail 250.
00:54We're expecting over 70 ships from 55 different nations, including tall ships and vessels
01:01representing foreign navies.
01:04Today we've come together with members of different nations in order to celebrate America's
01:09250th anniversary.
01:38The most special aspect of America's identity can actually be found right downtown here
01:45in New York.
01:45As I come from my hometown on a boat full of people from all across America in all kinds
01:51of different uniforms, I step into the cities with people again from all over the world despite
01:56whatever their background is.
01:58We come together, we are able to celebrate our history and heritage and never have I felt
02:03closer with individuals who I absolutely know nothing about and I believe that really speaks
02:07to the identity of America.
02:22One of the biggest personal reasons, my grandfather served, I served, I share service with two
02:28other brothers and so we come from a very long lineage of military service.
02:33I specifically chose the Marine Corps because I was the only individual in my family who didn't
02:38serve in the Corps and I still am very proud of my service today.
02:42It runs truly deep within my blood, my sweat, sometimes my tears and it is very personal to
02:49me.
02:50Mm-hmm.
03:32I'm so excited to see you next time.
04:09Oh, God.
