In other words, the steps of the video will allow you to fix Steam not correctly installing games, not correctly updating games, and Steam games installing error due to the corrupted files. In Virus & Threat Protection Settings, click on Manage Settings
Scroll down
In Exclusions, click on Add or Remove Exclusions
Click on Add an exclusion
Select Folder

Click on Select Folder

Open the Steam folder
Select Steam
Right-click on Steam
Click on Properites
Click on Compatibility
Check the option "Run this program as administrator"
Click on Apply
Click on OK

Open Computer
Open Drive
Open Program Files (x86) [Unless you installed Steam on a different folder]
Select the Steam folder
Right-click it
Click on Properties
Uncheck the option "Read Only"
Click on Apply
Click on OK
