00:00This motorcycle has excessively worn tires, which is why there is a bouncing or knocking sound in the sprocket carrier.
00:08when we accelerate.
00:09And this failure, in the short or long term, can damage the wheel hub and the secondary axle of
00:17the transmission.
00:19For this reason, we must replace these tires with new ones to avoid more serious damage in the future.
00:26Once we remove the rear wheel axle, the next thing we're going to do is loosen and remove the
00:36brake cam screw.
00:40We removed the nut and bolt that holds the belt carrier to the tension rod and proceeded to loosen and
00:50remove the sprocket nut.
00:53Once we remove it, we can lower the rear wheel of the motorcycle.
01:00In this case we are working on a Crichton 110 motorcycle.
01:07And once we remove the motorcycle wheel, we're going to check the tires to see their condition because these
01:16They are the ones causing the problem with this motorcycle.
01:20Here we have the brake band holder and the brake bands, if you'll pardon the redundancy.
01:27Let's turn the wheel to show you the tires.
01:32This is the fault we are going to correct.
01:34Look at how the sprocket holder moves in the bell housing, and how this deteriorates the bell housing in the short or long term.
01:44It damages her.
01:45And this movement can also damage the secondary shaft of the gearbox or transmission.
01:53The next thing we're going to do is place or assemble the new tires.
02:01We place them on the sprocket carrier and once they are all in place we put the sprocket carrier on the wheel hub.
02:14And we check that they fit snugly enough and don't have excessive axial movement to the sides.
02:24And in this case, as you can see, they were quite tight.
02:29Also, remember to check the description of this video where I've included more interesting mechanics tutorials that you should know about.
02:38And stop by and visit the official Toromotos.net website where we have a completely free mechanics course.
02:49The next thing we're going to do is quickly reassemble the rear wheel on the motorcycle.
02:57Once we assemble the chain on the sprocket carrier, we proceed to install the chain tensioner.
03:06And then we put on the nut that adjusts the sprocket holder to the motorcycle's swingarm.
03:15And we tighten this nut a little, not completely, so that we can then tension the chain.
03:22And now we'll install the wheel axle.

03:32And subscribe to this channel, which is completely free.
03:38Don't forget to install the spacer bushing and chain tensioner on this side.
03:44And we proceed to tighten the nut with its respective wrench.
03:48I'm going to hold it here with an expansion wrench.
03:51And I'm going to start squeezing it from this other side.
03:55Look, I'm doing this work with very few tools.
04:00A tool that you can easily have in your homes.
04:05The next thing we're going to do is position the band holder with the rod.
04:11And we tightened it with its screw and respective nut.
04:15And we give it the correct tightening.
04:17And we proceed to adjust the brake rod using the cam and the nut that provides the tension.
04:26And this is how we manage to change the tires on the rear wheel of a motorcycle easily.
04:33In this case, a Yamaha Krypton 110.
04:37Remember to check the description of this video.
04:40See you next time.
