00:00I was like, I don't know.
00:02And so I was offering Mona some options of who could play Anne Lee after I read it.
00:07And who did you throw out there?
00:09Olivia Cooke.
00:11Solid.
00:12She was my first choice for Anne Lee.
00:14But it came together the way it should.
00:16That's what was funny about this process, that I read the script and I was like, huh.
00:21Huh.
00:22I can't see it because of, first of all, the character is so empowered
00:29and I find that to, I don't, you know, in my own personal life,
00:35I feel like I'm still looking to be that empowered
00:38and I'm still looking to find ways to be on my front foot
00:41and feel comfortable with that, which is why I want to play these characters
00:43who I imagine are, I'm going to absorb some of their goodness, right?
00:47But the other point was that in the script it was just like all hymns,
00:50like bookmarks of hymns that might be used in this moment
00:55and then they're going to be moving and dancing
00:57and I couldn't envision any of it.
00:59I couldn't hear the hymns and I couldn't envision the dancing
01:01because I had so far to go.
01:04And that's why.
