00:00I was really curious about the first time you guys remember a Flying Dutchman being in Spongebob.
00:07Oh, yeah. Oh, good question.
00:09Wow.
00:10Is that the episode?
00:11You're good.
00:11Can I Google this? Can I Google this and get back to you?
00:14No, the one that, because, you know, there's no real continuity in Spongebob, so you just kind of.
00:19It's the, you're good, you're good.
00:20The one I remember is the perfume counter one.
00:24Yeah, yeah.
00:25What is the name of that one?
00:27Oh, yeah, who knows?
00:27But that was a little, little, little. It was that episode, I think.
00:31Yeah, I think so, too, where they have to get past the perfume, the live-action perfume counter.
00:36Is that the first one?
00:37Because they also tape them out of order and show them out of order.
00:41But I know that, like, Stephen Hillenburg, the creator of Spongebob, was always, he's very into nautical stuff, pirate stuff,
00:51pirate lore.
00:52Yeah, the lore.
00:53So things like, you know, things like this cursed ghost pirate was an idea that Steve had very early on.
01:02And, you know, Brian Doyle-Murray was such a great, and is such a great, just kills it.
01:09Yeah, you get, unless you have that voice naturally, you can't do it.
01:12And then Mark is the movie Dutchman for this one.
01:16But I just recorded Brian Doyle-Murray yesterday, or directed him, I should say, for the TV show.
01:22So we have our two Dutchmans, Cinematic Universe Dutchman and TV Universe Dutchman.
01:26And, yeah, I just love, I just think that Dutchman is so funny.
01:31Like, it's always funny to me when characters who act like they're all powerful, and then they can be irritated
01:38by these two little goobers.
01:41Will you be quiet?
01:42I'm trying to be a scary ghost.
01:45And, you know, they're too dumb.
01:48Patrick and Spongebob are too naive to be scared, which drives him crazy.
01:52So, yeah, I love the Dutchman, and he really gets a nice character showcase in this film.
01:57It was a great surprise the first time I saw the look, what he looked like, you know, really in
02:02what color in that.
02:03That special color green.
02:04Spectral green.
