00:16necklace. Initially unsure of its worth, he took it to a local expert. The simple beach find turned
00:21out to be a stunning piece of jewelry, which Terry later sold for a life-changing $8,800.
00:25Number two. In 2001, hobbyist Cliff Bradshaw was scanning a quiet field in Ken, England when he
00:31made an extraordinary discovery. Buried deep in the soil was a crumpled ancient gold chalice. Despite
00:35its battered appearance, it was a remarkably rare artifact from the Bronze Age. A local museum was
00:40so impressed by its historical value that they purchased the cup for a significant sum. In a
00:44true display of sportsmanship, Cliff split the reward 50 50th with the owner of the land. Number
00:49one. A farmer lost his hammer in a field and asked a friend with a metal detector to help him
00:53find it,
00:53but instead of the hammer, they struck gold. They unearthed the largest hoard of late Roman silver
00:58and gold ever found in Britain. Over 14,000 coins and artifacts, over 1,600 years old. The treasure
01:04was valued at a staggering $1.75 million. The farmer eventually found his hammer and chose to donate
01:10all the coins along with the lost hammer to the British Museum.
