DepEd launches 'Kaagapay' movement, Garma says

Department of Education (DepEd) Undersecretary Malcolm Garma announced during the hearing of the Senate Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations and Gender Equality, on Wednesday, July 1, that the state agency is launching a large‑scale initiative called “Kaagapay”.  Garma emphasizes that the movement will focus on improving parental awareness and reorienting parents and teachers to play a crucial role in disseminating information.
