00:02Amazon's hit show Invincible is a fantastic adaptation of Robert Kirkman's comic series
00:07of the same name, but we need to talk about that scene. You know the one. For those unfamiliar
00:11with the comics before watching the show, Collective Jaws dropped and hit the floor
00:16when the ending of episode one happened. And huge spoiler warning here before we go any further.
00:22Episode one introduces the Guardians of the Globe, a superhero collective responsible for
00:26protecting Earth seemingly alongside Omni-Man. Then the ending happens. The Guardians are
00:32absolutely obliterated by Omni-Man in a prolonged bloody massacre. They put up a decent fight
00:37initially until their demise. However, in the comics it is presented as a much cleaner assassination
00:43without Omni-Man taking any damage at all. And he doesn't appear injured as a means to exonerate
00:48himself from the killings. He simply returns to his normal life showing no remorse, which in many
00:54ways is much darker than the show. All this time later. Why did you make me do this?
