UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has strongly condemned what he called the "relentless" expansion of Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, warning that the situation is fueling the largest displacement crisis in the territory since 1967.

In a new UN report, Guterres said expanding settlements, increasing settler violence, and growing access restrictions are undermining prospects for a viable Palestinian state. He also warned that planned development in the E1 area could effectively divide the northern and southern West Bank, posing a serious threat to the two-state solution.

The report comes as several European members of the UN Security Council urged Israel to halt settlement expansion, ensure accountability for settler violence, and investigate allegations involving Israeli security forces.

Watch the full report on the latest developments in the West Bank, the UN's warnings, Israel-Palestine tensions, and the international response.
