00:19this is a not fun pet and family update okay good god i'm sorry that she's doing that right now
00:27okay so that is our cat liza maunelli three weeks ago it was uh i think it was june 2nd
00:33sunday
00:33our beloved dog george um had a situation with liza where he like they were trying to cross each
00:45other on the stairs and liza was and she gave him a little swat and then george just kind of
00:50freaked
00:50out and went for her and wasn't like biting going for her but like roughhousing going for her and
00:57ended up breaking her jaw um so i got george off of her i couldn't tell like what the immediate
01:04damage was until i got to liza and i saw what i knew was immediately like a very broken jaw
01:12and just
01:13started scream crying howling for mark and we got her to the emergency vet and i knew instantly that
01:21like if she made it we weren't going to be able to keep george and thank god for the people
01:29at the
01:29schwartzman animal hospital like they performed a literal miracle on her um i didn't think she was
01:36going to make it and i thought i was going to cancel my shows in hawaii and kansas city and
01:43omaha if you
01:43would have told me that morning that we were going to be rehoming george that night i would have said
01:48you
01:48were crazy and he's been with us for four years like all the animals got to got along so well
01:54for
01:54the most part and this just came completely out of the blue and it's been just so gut-wrenching
02:00we found him a new foster home we our theory on george is that he's just like a one dog
02:06like a one
02:07dog not like a three dogs five cats sort of dog like he just needs to be like the only
02:13dog in the house
02:13um and he's just such a good boy and today's been really hard because i just am thinking about him
02:18so much just so grateful for our community and for our friends and family and the schwartzman animal
02:24center for showing up and making this possible just pet stuff is just so it can be so much so
