00:00People like to say it's performative to meet on the pitch,
00:04and frankly, I don't give a **** what people have to say.
00:07Like, all I care about is our own team and what we do together.
00:10And in these moments, it's hard because after the game,
00:13everybody gets pulled in a million different directions by media,
00:15and you don't really have a chance to be with your team
00:17unless you take that moment right there.
00:19I always try to get the leaders to speak because, again,
00:22they're Canadian, this is their national team.
00:24But I wanted to be able to voice to them
00:27how important a moment this will prove to be
00:30for the sport in the country, for the national team program.
00:34It's a shame we couldn't do it in Vancouver, right, in front of our fans.
00:38But nonetheless, I think you saw the character of the team,
00:40the quality of the team, the mentality of the team,
00:43the togetherness of the team.
00:44It's a pleasure to be their coach,
00:45and the responsibility I feel to them specifically
00:48is what motivates me every day to try to prepare
00:52and create a platform for them to be their greatest.
00:54And I think they did that today.
